STAT TV: TV and Cellphones Go Hand in Hand

According to a study conducted by The Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project, over half of adults who own a cellular telephone use it for many different reasons while watching TV. Indeed, 22 % used it to check if the information they saw on TV was actually true, 20 % used it to visit a website mentioned on TV, and 11 % used it to see what others were saying about a show they were watching or to post their comments on the show.
