STAT TV: US Tablet Viewers Watch More TV Than We Think!

According to a study by The Diffusion Group, 40% of US tablet TV viewers aged 18 to 49 years old watch more traditional TV now that they have a tablet. The study also shows that 46.2% of the respondent watch about the same amount of traditional TV as before. The latter is also the case for those aged 50 and over.  This suggests that, if anything, traditional TV time may increase hand in hand with tablet usage and tablet TV viewing

Moreover, 28% of US tablet owners stated that they tend to look up more information about a product advertised during a show. Also, 12% purchased a product advertised during a show.
