WE Day Toronto in Partnership with MTV

On Thursday October 1, the Air Canada Centre will be full of energy and overrun with music, leaders, students and educators during WE Day Toronto. In partnership with MTV, WE Day Toronto will bring together a talented list of artists along with inspirational stories of leadership and change. The event is free for thousands thanks to partners led by National Co-Title Sponsors RBC and Telus. The event will be streamed live on and taped for broadcast on MTV premiering November 25, 2015 at 10pm. Speakers and performers will get up on stage in front of over 20,000 students to celebrate the will to lead and commit to creating global change. Hitting the stage will be Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and many more talents speakers and artists.

“I’ve performed at several WE Day events and I can’t wait to take the stage again in Toronto,” said artist and actor, Nick Jonas. “I’m excited to support an organization that’s inspiring students and celebrating their commitment to making the world a better place.”

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, the event will be co-hosted by CTV’s etalk reporter and Much host Liz Trinnear. WE Day co-founders, Craig and Marc Kielburger will also offer motivational speeches to get the crowd pumped.  WE Day is a non-profit initiative that provides a platform for today’s youth to learn about issues ranging from bullying in high school to poverty overseas and more.
