1,820,000 Viewers Watched the Canadiens’ Comeback in the Eastern Conference Final Series against the Rangers on RDS

Montreal (May 23, 2014) – Yesterday, an average of 1,820,000* viewers followed Game 3 of the Canadiens-Rangers playoff match-up on RDS. Peak audience levels were recorded at 2,476,000* during the game.

RDS has surpassed, for a 14th consecutive time, the 1 million mark for viewership during a Canadiens’ game.

With 53.5%* of market share during the broadcast, RDS held once again the lead of the prime-time TV ratings by gathering more fans in front of their TVs than all of Quebec’s conventional and specialized networks combined.

Thanks to Dustin Tokarski’s brilliant saves, the Montreal Canadiens won the game (3-2) in overtime and they are now back on track for the Eastern Conference Final series, led by the New York Rangers (2-1). Watch Game 4 of the series, Sunday, May 25th at 8 p.m. ET live on RDS.
