2,085,000 Viewers Watched the Canadiens Dodge Elimination on RDS

Montreal (May 28, 2014) – Yesterday, an average of 2,085,000* viewers followed Game 5 of the Canadiens-Rangers series on RDS. Peak audience levels were recorded at 2,717,000* during this riveting game.

RDS has surpassed the 2 million viewers mark for a 5th time since the beginning of the playoffs and the 1 million mark for a 16th consecutive time during a Canadiens’ game on RDS.

With 55,0%* of market share during the broadcast, RDS held once again the lead of the prime-time TV ratings by gathering more fans in front of their TVs than all of Quebec’s conventional and specialized networks combined.

Having avoided elimination with a 7-4 win, the Montreal Canadiens will face off once again with the Rangers in the Eastern Conference Finals in New York City. Watch Game 6 of the series, Thursday, May 29th at 8 p.m. ET live on RDS.
