TORONTO (September 19, 2013) – Space continues to unearth the most riveting series with the premiere of the new fantasy drama ATLANTIS, launching with two back-to-back episodes, Saturday, Oct. 12 at 8 and 9 p.m. ET. The 13-episode, one-hour series takes viewers on the mythical journey of Jason (Jack Donnelly, DANCING ON THE EDGE), who stumbles upon the shores of a mysterious land of palaces, heroes, and creatures – the lost city of Atlantis. With the help of the studious Pythagoras (Robert Emms, War Horse), and the overbearing and overweight Hercules (Mark Addy, GAME OF THRONES), Jason is guided through the newly found ancient world. Together, the unlikely but loveable trio embark on an adventure that leads them through a complicated web of secrets, treachery, and a dark and simmering past.
