Whether engaging with the most death-defying, ferocious predators or fluffy four-legged friends, Animal Planet’s month-long freeview delivers programming that explores the extraordinary relationships between humans and animals.

The freeview curtain rises with the Season 2 premiere of BIGGEST AND BADDEST (Dec. 1), where biologist Niall McCann encounters some of the most daunting creatures on the planet. Then, hard-to-cure pets from across Britain receive cutting-edge care from “bionic vet” Noel Fitzpatrick in SUPERVET (Dec. 6), before getting up close and personal with the world’s most precious pups, kittens, and other babes in TOO CUTE! PINT SIZED (Dec. 13). Also, only one group stands between a controversial whale-killing machine and its prey: the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. The stunning and dangerous special presentation of WHALE WARS (Dec. 28) highlights the debated Japanese whaling trade and the risk the Sea Shepherd’s take to save these beautiful creatures. The freeview month also features fan-favourites PIT BULLS AND PAROLEES, GATOR BOYS, MY CAT FROM HELL, and more!
