Astral Out of Home Announces Montréal Winners of the CARTE BLANCHE FOR CREATIVES Contest

MONTRÉAL (May 26, 2016) – Astral Out of Home, a division of Bell Media, announced tonight the Montréal winners of the 7th edition of its CARTE BLANCHE FOR CREATIVES contest, which honours the best out-of-home ads designed by creatives from local agencies. Launched last March, the annual CARTE BLANCHE AUX CRÉATIFS contest set a new record, receiving 341 entries from across Canada, including 159 from Québec. This celebration of out-of-home creativity culminated during the C2 conference in Montréal, as part of a joint final event for CARTE BLANCHE FOR CREATIVES and the C’EST DANS’ CANNES contest. “Carte Blanche started in 2010 right here in Montréal, and after seven editions the contest has remained undeniably popular among the city’s exceptional creative community,” said Michael Alexandor, Vice-President, Marketing and Innovation, Bell Media. “The amount of entries and their quality continue to be world-class. These projects, which showcase great ideas for the best brands, are created specifically for Astral Out of Home. I extend my thanks to the jury for their tremendous work. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners!” The winning teams from each market will attend the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, while their clients will be offered a $50,000 campaign on Astral Out of Home’s network.
