TORONTO (November 5, 2014) Space returns to the ancient world of legendary heroes, mythical creatures, and a kingdom on the brink of collapse in the Season 2 premiere of hit series ATLANTIS, Saturday, Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. ET, exclusively on Space. The 13-episode, one-hour drama returns with the dynamic trio of Jason (Jack Donnelly, DANCING ON THE EDGE), Hercules (Mark Addy, GAME OF THRONES), and Pythagoras (Robert Emms, War Horse) who are thrust head-first into the war between Ariadne (Aiysha Hart, Honour) and Pasiphaë (Sarah Parish, HATFIELDS & MCCOYS). As the battle for the throne intensifies, loyalties are tested and Jason must face his destiny before Atlantis is lost forever. 

For those who have yet to dive into the fantastical world of ATLANTIS, Space delivers every exhilarating moment from Season 1 with the ATLANTIS CATCH-UP MARATHON, airing Saturday, Nov. 15, from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. ET with 13, back-to-back episodes.

In the Season 2 premiere of ATLANTIS (Saturday, Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. ET) a year has passed and with her father now dead, Ariadne (Hart) is Queen, and Atlantis is at war. With the future looking bleak, there is only one person Ariadne dare turn to for help – her old ally and friend Jason (Donnelly). The time has come for the young warrior to fulfill his destiny as the battle for Atlantis begins.

Returning for Season 2 of the fantasy series is Juliet Stevenson (THE HOUR) as The Oracle.  New additions include Vincent Regan (STRIKE BACK) as Dion, and Amy Manson (BEING HUMAN) as Medea. Guest stars include Robert Pugh (GAME OF THRONES) and Peter de Jersey (BROADCHURCH).
