The prestigious Peabody Awards Board of Jurors announced the Entertainment Category winners of the 77th Annual Peabody Awards last week, and three acclaimed Bell Media series were among the recipients. THE HANDMAID’S TALE (Bravo)

(Photo by: George Kraychyk/Hulu)Bravo’s #1 series, the television adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s iconic dystopian novel, THE HANDMAID’S returns for its 13-episode second season, Sunday, April 29 at 9 p.m. ET with a two-episode premiere event on Bravo. Season 1 is currently streaming on CraveTV. Posted earlier today, THE HANDMAID’S TALE lead star Elisabeth Moss discussed her character’s future and the relevance of the series ahead of Season 2.
INSECURE (HBO Canada)
Created by and starring Issa Rae, INSECURE follows best friends Issa (Rae) and Molly (Yvonne Orji) on their quest to “have it all,” dealing with work woes, romantic escapades, and awkward moments along the way. Punctuated by Issa’s hilarious and pointed rap monologues and fantasies, the acclaimed comedy is an authentic, incisive, and exploration of the contemporary black female experience.
