Bell Media’s Harold Greenberg Fund Supports Five New Feature Films Through Equity Investment Program

The latest round of funding includes the latest film from celebratedCanadian director Atom Egoyan(Remember), starring Canadian acting iconChristopher Plummer alongside fellow Oscar® winnerMartin Landau. Other projects include new works fromestablished directors Sean Garrity(Borealis) andAisling Walsh(Maudie), and first features from emerging talentStephen Dunn (Closet Monster) andmusic-video director X (The Damage).This announcement comes during TIFF, which this year is screening five featurefilms supported by the Harold Greenberg Fund’s Equity Investment Program,including Maps to theStars,OctoberGale,BigMuddy,Heartbeat, and Bang BangBaby.   “We are proud tocontinue our support of established and emerging Canadian talent through theEquity Investment Program,” said John Galway, President, English-Language Program,The Harold Greenberg Fund. “The latest round of supported projects illustrateboth the depth of talent working in this country as well as promising newvoices.”
