Bell Media’s Harold Greenberg Fund Supports Seven New Feature Films Through Equity Investment Program

  To tweet this release: BANFF, ALBERTA (June 9, 2014) – Bell Media’s Harold Greenberg Fund announced today from the Banff World Media Festival, the support of seven new feature film projects through its Equity Investment Program. The latest round of funding includes international co-productions (The Girl King, Life); works from first-time filmmakers Jeffrey St. Jules (Bang Bang Baby) and Jefferson Moneo (Big Muddy); the sophomore effort from Cameron Labine (Mountain Men); and features from established directors Alain Desrochers (ESC) and Rubba Nada (October Gale). “We are proud to support such a diverse range of independent Canadian films through the Equity Investment Program,” said John Galway, President, English-Language Program, The Harold Greenberg Fund. “Crossing genres from musical comedy to science fiction and historical drama, and from both emerging and established filmmakers, these new works showcase the extraordinary talent working today in Canadian feature filmmaking.”
