TORONTO (June 10, 2014) – Trained and expert survivalists, Joseph Teti and Cody Lundin, the odd couple of survival, enter the most forbidding terrains in the world for the return of DUAL SURVIVAL, Season 4,  premiering Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT on Discovery World. Using intuitive tactics and finely- tuned skills in order to stay alive, the survival strategists must overcome all obstacles in the mangroves of Sri Lanka, the blazing Arabian Desert in Oman, the snow-capped Norwegian mountains, and more. Finding food, water, and shelter are nothing compared to their toughest challenge of all…getting along with one another!

Demonstrating what it takes to stay alive: DUAL SURVIVAL S4 returns July 6 on Discovery World

Teti and Lundin must join forces to take on some of the planet’s most unforgiving terrain. This season the challenges are bigger, the environments are more extreme, and the differences between the two men couldn’t be greater. Teti, a combat-tested special operations veteran has had countless classified missions in Afghanistan and Iraq.  Lundin, a survival veteran, refined his skills living in the deserts and mountains with little modern tools, equipment, or assistance. As part of his indigenous survival strategy, Lundin has been going barefoot for more than two decades. Together they could be the most formidable survival team on the planet – if only they could agree on strategy.

Highlights from DUAL SURVIVAL include:

DUAL SURVIVAL: “No End in Sight “(Part One)

Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT

Stranded in a mangrove swamp in Sri Lanka, Joseph Teti and Cody Lundin escape the crocodile-filled waters only to find themselves in a leech-infested jungle. But this time, distressed elephants interrupt their journey back and they may not get out alive.

DUAL SURVIVAL: “No End in Sight” (Part Two)

Sunday, July 13 at 9 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT

Stranded deep in the jungle of Sri Lanka, Teti comes face-to-face with elephants and is forced off a cliff, while Lundin masters the ancient fire piston.  Later, they cross a crocodile-infested lake to escape the longest survival scenario in the history of DUAL SURVIVAL.

DUAL SURVIVAL: “Deadly Dunes”

Sunday, July 20 at 9 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT

Marooned in a sea of sand dunes, Teti and Lundin traverse the unforgiving desert and trek deep into the mountains of Oman. Threatened by dehydration and heatstroke, their journey shows how nomads have survived for millennia in this hyper-arid land.

DUAL SURVIVAL: “Glacial Downfall”

Sunday, July 27 at 9 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT

On a glacier and clinging to opposite ends of a rope, Teti and Lundin face their most challenging rescue scenario ever. The frozen landscape brings their opposing survival styles to the forefront of this journey – their final episode together.
