California Chrome Chases the Elusive Triple Crown in the BELMONT STAKES, Live on TSN, This Saturday at 6 p.m. ET

TORONTO (June 4, 2014) – TSN delivers live coverage of California Chrome’s historic run for the first Triple Crown title since 1978 during this Saturday’s (June 7) BELMONT STAKES  the final leg of horse racing’s prestigious Triple Crown. Live coverage of the 146th running of the BELMONT STAKES airs at 6 p.m. ET on TSN, while TSN2 delivers five consecutive hours of coverage beginning with a pre-race show at 2:30 p.m. ET (see below for complete schedule).

TSN subscribers can also access live streaming and on demand coverage of the BELMONT STAKES on their smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop via TSN GO.  Live coverage will also be available on TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto, TSN Radio 690 in Montreal, and TEAM Radio 1040 in Vancouver beginning at 6 p.m. ET.

California Chrome will attempt to become the first horse in 36 years to capture horse racing’s elusive Triple Crown after winning the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes earlier this year. Jockey Victor Espinoza is also chasing his own piece of history, as he makes a rare second attempt at winning the Triple Crown.
