“We are currently experiencing a delay on Line 2 due to signal issues” – sound familiar?
Well, disgruntled Toronto commuters are in luck! NEWSTALK 1010 tackles Toronto transit by giving Torontonians the opportunity to express their top transit issues to a panel of decision makers, in a NEWSTALK 1010 original presentation TORONTO TALKS – TRANSIT EDITION. Broadcasting Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m. ET on NEWSTALK 1010, the one-hour special is hosted by NEWSTALK’s Barb DiGiulio and Ryan Doyle and features an expert panel including Carlos Santos, the President of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 113, Councillor Denzil Minnan-Wong, a member of the TTC board and deputy Mayor, as well as members of the TTC Riders Association.
Focusing on the top irritants for Toronto transit users, including service delays, funding concerns, and more, TORONTO TALKS – TRANSIT EDITION will not only tackle the issues, but DiGiulio and Doyle will present these concerns to the panel and discuss how to make the day-to-day experience of public transit more enjoyable, ultimately making a change for the better.
