TORONTO (April 14, 2014) –Tomorrow morning, The Backyardigans storm the CANADA AM studio while on a fun-filled stop in Toronto as the Sea Deep in Adventure theatre tour makes its way across Canada. The adventurous team of animal friends including Pablo, Tyrone, Tasha, Uniqua, and Austin help viewers at home and a live studio audience get the morning started with a musical performance perfect for both the young and the young at heart.

“We are excited to present a performance by The Backyardigans to our guests in studio and viewers across the country,” said Lis Travers, Vice-President and Executive Producer, Canada AM. “This is a fun-filled performance suitable for all ages, and we invite Canadians to enjoy a special, live peek at the popular stage play currently touring the country.”

Launched in 2004, The Backyardigans is a pre-school TV series of Canadian/American origin, created by Janice Burgess with characters designed by children's author and illustrator, Dan Yaccarino. It features five animal children, who imagine that their backyard becomes an adventure place.
