Anchoring Discovery’s most-watched night of the week, the third season of the original Canadian series COLD WATER COWBOYS airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT beginning March 8 on Discovery and Discovery GO. Joining COLD WATER COWBOYS on Discovery’s must-see Tuesdays is the 16-time Emmy® Award-winning series DEADLIEST CATCH, returning to the Bering Sea March 29 at 9 p.m. ET. Richard’s determined to hook his biggest score yet – two and a half million pounds of herring. Highlights from the first two episodes of COLD WATER COWBOYS: COLD WATER COWBOYS: “200 Miles From Nowhere” Tuesday, March 8 at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT First Mate Conway Caines and his father, Skipper Rick, are taking a huge risk fishing 220 miles off the north coast of Newfoundland, out on the edge of the continental shelf where the ocean drops off into the abyss. Southwest, in Cox’s Cove, there’s a new boat in the harbour – the Crane’s Legacy – owned by rookie skipper Rick Crane. He is determined to prove to everyone – including his crew of lifelong friends – that he’s as good a fisherman as any. Back on the East Coast, Morris Anstey and the crew of the Sebastian Sails have picked a notorious strip of the North Atlantic to launch their crab season – Iceberg Alley. COLD WATER COWBOYS: “Fight For What’s Mine” Tuesday, March 15 at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT On the West Coast, it’s lobster season for Rick Crane. Selling for twice the price of last year, Rick is hoping to make enough money to cover his first boat payment. But only two days in, his catches suddenly fall short and he realizes he’s been hit by poachers! Morris Anstey and the crew of the Sebastian Sails are exhausted after two weeks at sea, but they won’t give up – even if that means navigating around a massive iceberg. Back on the West Coast, Andre and Michelle Jesso head for St. George’s Bay on the hunt for capelin.
