TORONTO (March 13, 2014) As NEWSTALK 1010’s weekly show THE PROVINCE moves into its third week, Progressive Conservative Party Leader Tim Hudak prepares to take the reins this Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. ET.

Following the format of the first two editions, Hudak will discuss a range of topics facing Ontarians and take calls from constituents throughout the hour-long episode.

“l look forward to every opportunity for open dialogue with Ontarians,” said Hudak. “The good news for listeners is I come armed with a plan not only for a great hour of radio, but more importantly a plan to create a million jobs in the province - something the present government sorely lacks and the NDP has yet to think about."

THE PROVINCE features Ontario’s Provincial Party Leaders – NDP leader Andrea Horwath, Premier Kathleen Wynne, and Hudak – taking turns hosting the weekly show, each of whom invite their own guests and take calls from Ontarians. On last week’s show, Horwath fielded questions concerning hydro costs and long-term care in Ontario as well as speaking to two NDP members - Jagmeet Singh and Jonah Schein - concerning tabled legislation on auto-insurance rates and unpaid internships.

THE PROVINCE is simulcast on 610 CKTB in Niagara, AM 800 in Windsor, and 580 CFRA in Ottawa.
