CALGARY (September 4,2014)– As the race for Alberta’s new Progressive Conservative party leader and nextPremier heats up, CTV Edmonton and CTV Calgary unveiled plans today to deliverAlbertans PC LEADERSHIP2014, a province-wide broadcast of the historic election taking placethis weekend. Airing Saturday,Sept. 6 at 7p.m., the one-hour special, co-hosted by CTV News Edmonton Anchor DarylMcIntyre and CTV News Calgary Anchor Tara Nelson, features leadership profilesof the three candidates: Thomas Lukaszuk, Ric McIver, and Jim Prentice; livereports from the floor of the leadership convention, and the officialannouncement of Alberta’s 16th Premier.
