CTV News Regina Welcomes Heather Anderson as Co-Anchor of CTV NEWS AT SIX

REGINA (October 1,2014) – CTV News Regina today announced that Heather Anderson hasbeen named Co-Anchor of CTV NEWS AT SIX. Anderson will joinDan McIntosh at the helm of the evening news desk beginning Tuesday,Oct. 14. A familiar face to Regina viewers, Anderson was previouslyAnchor and Host of Global Regina’s MORNING NEWS.

 

“This certainly is a careerambition fulfilled for me,” said Anderson. “Joining CTV News gives me theopportunity to be part of Regina’s #1 newscast. I’m proud to serve viewersacross Saskatchewan and its surrounding regions.”

Born and raised in Regina,Anderson graduated with honours from the broadcast news program at SouthernAlberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary. She began her broadcastcareer in 2008 at Global Regina, where she has since served in numerousnewsroom capacities including reporting, producing, and anchoring. In 2011,Anderson was appointed to help develop and launch the MORNING NEWS program forGlobal Regina.
