July marks the Season 2 premiere of the hottest series of the summer, THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, followed a few days later by a half-hour ETALK original special, ETALK & THE AMAZING RACE CANADA: ON THE ROAD AGAIN. ETALK also commemorates Canada Day with ETALK PRESENTS: PROUDLY CANADIAN, a 30-minute original special celebrating the year’s top Canadian entertainers making headlines on home soil and around the world. This month also sees MASTERCHEF CANADA judges Alvin Leung and Claudio Aprile, and Canadian Special Olympics athletes, guest star on episodes of THE LISTENER. Plus, CTV delivers the series finale of THE NEIGHBORS, new episodes of specialty series 19-2 and BITTEN, and all-new episodes of RISING STAR, UNFORGETTABLE, MASTERCHEF, MISTRESSES, HOT IN CLEVELAND, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, and GANG RELATED.

7 p.m. – ETALK PRESENTS: PROUDLY CANADIAN – SPECIAL

ETALK shines the spotlight on the year’s top Canadian entertainers making headlines here at home and around the world. The new, original, half-hour special, hosted by Ben Mulroney and Tanya Kim, features exclusive one-on-one interviews with Jon Montgomery (THE AMAZING RACE CANADA), Tatiana Maslany (ORPHAN BLACK), the casts from CTV’s hit original crime drama MOTIVE and Space’s sexy, high-octane thriller BITTEN, and more.

Wednesday, July 2

8 p.m. – SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE – First Live Performance Show & Meet the Top 20 Performers” – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS

The Top 20 finalists (10 guys and 10 girls) perform live for the first time to win America's vote.

Thursday, July 3

9 p.m. – GANG RELATED – “Regreso del Infierno” – NEW EPISODE

With Daniel (Jay Hernandez) held hostage and the clock ticking, Ryan (Ramon Rodriguez) engages in a dangerous heist to steal back the confiscated drugs. Amaury Nolasco (CSI) guest stars as Mariano, a ruthless sociopath who heads up the cartel.

Nick (Adrian Holmes) butts heads with J.M (Dan Petronijevic) when they are assigned patrol together. Meanwhile, Beatrice (Mylène Dinh-Robic) embarks on a new romance.

 

Saturday, July 5

8 p.m. – THE NEIGHBORS – “There Goes the Neighbors' Hood” – SERIES FINALE

In the series finale of THE NEIGHBORS, Larry (Simon Templeman) learns that he is pregnant and makes a decision about returning home or staying with the rest of the Zabvronians. Meanwhile, Reggie (Tim Jo) must also decide if he wants to stay alien or turn human, and the families see two new visitors arriving at the neighbourhood. Candace Cameron (FULL HOUSE) and Scott Weinger (MISTRESSES) who played couple DJ Tanner and Steve Hale on FULL HOUSE reunite as guest stars, and Joshua Sasse (ROGUE), and George Takei (HEROES) also guest star.

10 p.m. – BITTEN – “Bitten” – NEW TO CTV

As Elena (Laura Vandervoort) struggles to defend Clay (Greyston Holt) against suspicions of murder, old memories of their past are stirred up. Former Pack member Daniel Santos (Michael Luckett) arrives at Stonehaven with information about the Mutt uprising.

Sunday, July 6

7:30 p.m. – HOT IN CLEVELAND – “The Undead” – NEW EPISODE

Elka (Betty White) throws a fake funeral for Victoria (Wendie Malick). Among the guests is her nemesis Susan Lucci (ALL MY CHILDREN). Elsewhere, Simon (Craig Ferguson, THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON) and Joy (Jane Leeves) face a kink in their relationship.

 

8 p.m. – UNFORGETTABLE – “The Combination” – NEW EPISODE

Carrie (Poppy Montgomery) and Al (Dylan Walsh) must uncover the pieces of a championship boxer's past to figure out who was able to beat him to death without any indication that he defended himself or fought back.

9 p.m. – RISING STAR – “Qualifiers #3” – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS

The Qualifying Rounds continue on RISING STAR, as the next group of aspiring singers audition live, while viewers vote via an app in real time to determine if the singer will “raise the wall” and advance in the competition. Josh Groban serves as host with Ludacris, Kesha, and Brad Paisley rounding out the expert panel. Canadian viewers can vote by downloading the free app at CTV.ca/RisingStar.

Monday, July 7

8 p.m. – MASTERCHEF – “Top 15 Compete” – NEW EPISODE

In the latest challenge, the remaining contestants must put aside their differences and work in pairs to create a restaurant-quality surf and turf dish. The teams who impress the judges are safe from elimination, while the teams who fall short face an intense pressure test featuring classic spring rolls.

9 p.m. – THE LISTENER – “Amuse Bouche” – NEW EPISODE

The semi-final live broadcast of competitive cooking show FIVE STAR CHEF turns deadly when the show’s front-running contestant is murdered. As the IIB team investigates, their suspects include the program’s celebrity judges, Gustav Main (Dylan Taylor, COVERT AFFAIRS), and MASTERCHEF CANADA’s Alvin Leung and Claudio Aprile, guest-starring as themselves. Karen's (Yunjin Kim) secret life gets the best of her when she meets a guy she likes. Joss (Jes Macallan) gets shocking news from Harry (Brett Tucker) that could impact both of their lives. With Daniel (Ricky Whittle, THE 100) out of town, April (Rochelle Ayte) has her reasons to decline a dinner invitation with the wealthy parents of her daughter's best friend. Before Savi (Alyssa Milano) and Harry sign their divorce papers, she has an epiphany that challenges her future with Dom (Jason George).

Charlie (Charlie Sheen) creates chaos when he surprises his therapy group by bringing their dysfunctional parents to a session.

 

9 p.m. – THE AMAZING RACE CANADA – SEASON 2 PREMIERE

The most-watched Canadian television series on record, THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, kicks-off its heart-pounding second season in a new timeslot. In the Season 2 Premiere, host Jon Montgomery launches the most amazing race this country has ever seen, as 11 all-new teams compete for the biggest grand prize in Canadian television history. Thursday, July 10

9 p.m. – GANG RELATED – “El Zorro y el Gallinero” – NEW EPISODE

A change to California's "Three Strikes" law causes additional trouble for the Gang Task Force. Meanwhile, Jessica (Shantel VanSanten) sees Silvia (Lela Loren) pay Ryan (Ramon Rodriguez) a visit, and Carlos (Rey Gallegos) sets forth on his path toward usurping Javier's (Cliff Curtis) seat as head of Los Angelicos.

 

10 p.m. – 19-2 – “Turf” – NEW TO CTV

A cover-up comes back to haunt Nick (Adrian Holmes) and Ben (Jared Keeso), pitting them against Gendron (Jean Petitclerc). Nick’s frustrations mount when Ben encroaches on his personal life.

Friday, July 11

7 p.m. – ETALK & THE AMAZING RACE CANADA: ON THE ROAD AGAIN – NEW SPECIAL

ETALK hits the road to join THE AMAZING RACE CANADA in a new half-hour special! Viewers get an exclusive look into the second season of the most-watched Canadian television series on record. ETALK host Devon Soltendieck talks winning strategies and alliances with the racers, and joins host Jon Montgomery to compete in the challenges of the first leg of the race.

 

9 p.m. – FINDING CARTER – SERIES PREMIERE – SPECIAL PRESENTATION

In the series premiere, Carter (Kathryn Prescott) has the perfect life with her single mother Lori (Milena Govich), until a police bust at a party reveals that Lori had abducted Carter as a child. Now, Carter returns to her biological parents (Cynthia Watros, GREY’S ANATOMY and Alexis Denisof, GRIMM) and must navigate through her new life whilst vowing to be reunited with Lori.

Back in Toronto, Elena’s (Laura Vandervoort) commitment to Philip (Paul Greene) is tested and her life interrupted when Santos (Michael Luckett, THE FIRM) makes an unwelcome appearance. At Stonehaven, Jeremy’s (Greg Bryk) title is challenged forcing him to fight to maintain his status as the Alpha.

On the eve of Victoria's big movie premiere, Emmy (Jennifer Love Hewitt, THE CLIENT LIST) visits with some surprising news while Elka (Betty White) announces she's taken a younger lover (Chris Elliott, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER).
