Thursday, Oct. 1 8 p.m. – GREY’S ANATOMY – “Walking Tall” – NEW EPISODE    The pressure is on as a determined Bailey (Chandra Wilson) tackles her first day as Chief; meanwhile, April’s (Sarah Drew) marriage is in jeopardy and she finds herself unable to address her problems. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) struggles to juggle all her responsibilities, and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) works to define her relationship with Owen (Kevin McKidd). 9 p.m. – SAVING HOPE – “Beasts of Burden” – NEW EPISODE Dr. Alex Reid (Erica Durance) is given the privilege of assisting renowned surgeon Dr. Clara Levine (Kate Lynch, THIS IS WONDERLAND). When Alex begins to question Dr. Levine’s surgical decision, she quickly finds herself on the wrong side of the operating table, replaced by Dr. Patrick Curtis (Max Bennett, Anna Karenina). After seven surgeries on a leg that is showing zero improvement, Dr. Charlie Harris (Michael Shanks) is given the unenviable task of convincing his patient that, in the face of spiraling self-medication and the very real possibility of a lifetime of pain, sometimes we can only move forward when we give up what’s holding us back. 10 p.m. – HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER – “She’s Dying” – NEW EPISODE Annalise (Viola Davis) and her team are blindsided when investigators try to pin a new charge on the wealthy siblings she’s been hired to represent. Meanwhile, things for Annalise become even more difficult when she’s brutally cross-examined on the witness stand during Nate’s (Billy Brown) preliminary hearing. Friday, Oct. 2 8 p.m. – THE AMAZING RACE – “Get in There and Think Like a Dog” – NEW EPISODE Teams travel to the birthplace of Pope Francis, and the church where he was baptized. Also, Racers are driven up a wall when they learn a tango with a twist. 9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – NEW EPISODE A recent college graduate from Orlando, Fla. takes the Sharks’ taste buds on a “joy ride to flavour town” with his twist on traditional hummus; a passionate aesthetician from Los Angeles wants to convince the Sharks they are just a wink away from investing in her eyelash extensions business; two friends from New York believe their edible cups are a delicious alternative to the disposable version while helping the environment; and two brothers from Paradise Valley, Ariz. don tuxedos to show the Sharks how formally serious they are when it comes to pitching their solution to the dreaded, forgotten computer password. 10 p.m. – BLUE BLOODS – “Absolute Power” – NEW EPISODE Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) investigate a possible serial killer while Erin (Bridget Moynahan) toys with the idea of applying for a judgeship. Tuesday, Oct. 6 8 p.m. – THE FLASH – “The Man Who Saves Central City” – SEASON PREMIERE Picking up months after the Singularity attacked Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) is still struggling to forgive himself for Eddie’s (Rick Cosnett) death. Concerned about putting his friends in danger, Barry has pushed everyone away and has chosen to protect the city on his own. When a meta-human named Atom Smasher (Adam Copeland, HAVEN) attacks the city, Iris (Candice Patton) tells Barry that he needs to let his friends help him protect the citizens of Central City. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) helps Joe (Jesse L. Wednesday, Oct. 7 8 p.m. – ARROW – “Green Arrow” – SEASON PREMIERE Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) blissful getaway is cut short when Thea (Willa Holland) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) pay them a visit and tell Oliver they need his help back in Star City. The city has been attacked by "Ghosts," assassins led by a dangerous man named Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough, SUITS). However, when Oliver returns, Diggle (David Ramsey) makes it very clear that he doesn’t want Oliver on the team. 9 p.m. – CRIMINAL MINDS – “The Witness” – NEW EPISODE When a Los Angeles bus is attacked with sarin gas, the BAU must act quickly to find the suspect before a larger-scale incident occurs. 10 p.m. – CODE BLACK – “We Plug Holes” – NEW EPISODE After Christa (Bonnie Somerville) saves a woman’s life, she pleads with Neal (Raza Jaffrey) to perform a surgery that will ensure the patient’s reproductive future. Also, Mario (Ben Hollingsworth) gets into a fight with a patient after he delivers a diagnosis that could imperil the man’s hockey career. To make matters worse, their patient is worried his colon cancer has returned and isn’t too excited to have two young doctors on the case. When things get complicated in the OR after Cassie panics and nicks a bile duct, Alex has to talk down her young charge to save their patient’s life. In the ER, Dr. Zach Miller (Benjamin Ayres) and Dr. Charlie Harris (Michael Shanks) treat a janitor who turns out to be an old friend of Joel Goran’s (Daniel Gillies), while Dr. Maggie Lin (Julia Taylor Ross), Alex, and Dr. Patrick Curtis (Max Bennett, Anna Karenina) begin to jockey for position when a Fellowship prize is announced. 10 p.m. – HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER – “It’s Called the Octopus” – NEW EPISODE When Annalise (Viola Davis) takes on a new client, the team must investigate a very high end sex club to get answers. Wednesday, Oct. 14 8 p.m. – ARROW – “The Candidate” – NEW EPISODE When an old family friend, Jessica Danforth (Jeri Ryan, BODY OF PROOF), tells Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Thea (Willa Holland) that she is going to run for mayor, both Queens are concerned considering the last three mayors have been murdered. Despite their protests, Jessica makes her announcement, and the Green Arrow and Speedy vow to protect her. Meanwhile, Thea begins to exhibit effects from the Lazarus Pit.
