 A new superhero joins the fall TV ranks as THE FLASH makes its series debut on CTV this month, along with season premieres of ARROW. CTV also delivers all-new episodes from the network’s explosive fall lineup.

Programming Highlights for October 3 – 19 on CTV and CTV GO include:

  • The Sharks are charmed by entrepreneurs dressed like ninjas demonstrating a darts-like card game on SHARK TANK (Oct. 3)
  • W5, Canada’s #1 investigative documentary series, returns for its 49th season premiere (Oct. 4)
  • Detectives Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) protect Gotham citizens from criminal vigilantes on GOTHAM (Oct. 6)
  • Henry (Ioan Gruffudd) uses his immortality to solve the mysterious death of one of New York’s wealthiest aristocrats at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on FOREVER (Oct. 6)
  • After a freak storm endows him with super speed, the fastest man alive, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), faces meta-human carnage on the series premiere of THE FLASH (Oct. 7)

Friday, Oct. 3

8 p.m. – THE AMAZING RACE– “When You Gotta Go, You Gotta Go” – NEW EPISODE

The Race continues through London, England, where the Express Pass is on the line, but several teams’ hopes of a first-place finish are capsized while boating in a punt in Oxford.


A dog lover from Los Angeles takes her pup everywhere she goes with her handmade wearable sling, which comes in luxurious materials. Then, the Sharks are charmed by entrepreneurs dressed like ninjas demonstrating a darts-like card game.

10 p.m. – BLUE BLOODS – “Forgive and Forget” – NEW EPISODE

When a fellow officer is ostracized for testifying against her partner, Jamie (Will Estes) stands up and volunteers to ride with her for a week, facing the wrath of his own partner and fellow cops. Meanwhile, Erin (Bridget Moynahan) and Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) clash when a settled case becomes a new homicide.  

Saturday, Oct. 5

7 p.m. – W5 – “Suicide Watch” – Season Premiere

W5 Co-Host and Correspondent Kevin Newman delivers a hard-hitting investigation into a sad and frightening national secret – the alarming rate of hospital patient suicides.

Sunday, Oct. 5

8 p.m. – ONCE UPON ATIME – “White Out” – NEW EPISODE

Emma (Jennifer Morrison) finds herself slowly freezing to death when Elsa (Georgina Haig) traps her inside an ice cave, and in the enchanted forest of the past, Anna (Elizabeth Lail) tries to teach a meek David (Josh Dallas) to fight warlord Bo Peep (Robin Weigert, The Sessions) - who is threatening to take his and his mother's farm away if they don't pay her price.


Bellamy (Omar Epps) and Sheriff Fred (Matt Craven) get reports that someone is living in Caleb Richards' (Sam Hazeldine) old hunting shack, and they fear he may have returned. Bellamy struggles with the knowledge that he too is a returned, and also with following orders from his mysterious boss (Donna Murphy, The Bourne Legacy).


The CSI team investigates a robbery and fatal shooting at a medical marijuana shop.

Monday, Oct. 6

7:30 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Hook-Up Reverberation” – NEW EPISODE

Raj's (Kunal Nayyar) honesty about his past comes back to haunt him after his girlfriend, Emily (Laura Spencer), is cold to Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting). Also, the guys consider becoming part-owners in Stuart's (Kevin Sussman) comic book store.

8 p.m. – GOTHAM – “The Balloonman” – NEW EPISODE

Detectives Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) track down a vigilante who is killing corrupt Gotham citizens by attaching them to weather balloons. Meanwhile, Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) returns to Gotham and gets a new job close to an influential figure in the underworld.

9 p.m. – FOREVER – “The Art of Murder” – NEW EPISODE – REGULAR TIMESLOT

The death of Gloria Carlyle (Kathleen Chalfant, HOUSE OF CARDS), the elegant, seemingly ruthless matriarch of one of New York's wealthiest and oldest families, brings a world of hurt down on her family. After Gloria is found dead at a Metropolitan Museum of Art gala celebration of her philanthropy, Henry (Ioan Gruffudd) runs through a variety of suspects and motives but is pulled from the case when the family demands faster answers.

Tuesday, Oct. 7

7:30 p.m. - THE GOLDBERGS – “The Facts of Bleeping Life” – NEW EPISODE 
With Prince Charles and Lady Diana's wedding approaching, Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) gets the idea for her and Murray (Jeff Garlin) to renew their vows. Meanwhile, Barry (Troy Gentile) hopes his and Adam's (Sean Giambrone) garage band will get Erica's (Hayley Orrantia) best friend, Lainey (AJ Michalka), to notice him again. 


8 p.m. – THE FLASH – “City of Heroes” – SERIES PREMIERE

Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin) mother was killed in a terrifying incident and his father Henry Allen (John Wesley Shipp) was falsely convicted of the murder. Now Barry is a brilliant, driven, and endearingly geeky CSI investigator, whose determination to uncover the truth about his mother's strange death leads him to follow up on every unexplained urban legend and scientific advancement that comes along. During the unveiling of a cutting-edge particle accelerator created by physicist Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), something goes horribly wrong, causing a freak storm and lightning to strike Barry. After a coma, Barry awakens to find his life has changed once again – the accident has given him the power of super speed.


9 p.m. – MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. – “Making Friends and Influencing People” – NEW EPISODE – NEW TIMESLOT

Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team race against Hydra to get to Donnie Gill (Dylan Minnette) – a dangerous gifted with the ability to freeze objects – while Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) is caught in the crossfire.

10 p.m. – PERSON OF INTEREST – “Wingman” – NEW EPISODE  

Finch (Michael Emerson) recruits Fusco (Kevin Chapman) to stick close to the latest POI, a professional "wingman," but learning how to approach women soon becomes the least of his worries. Meanwhile, Reese (Jim Caviezel) must find a way to play by the rules at his new day job as The Machine sends Finch and Root (Amy Acker) on a mysterious errand.


Wednesday, Oct. 8

8 p.m. – ARROW – “The Calm” – SEASON PREMIERE

In the Season 3 premiere of ARROW, crime in Starling City is at an all-time low thanks to the Arrow (Stephen Amell) and his team. Oliver (Amell) thinks he can finally balance being both the Arrow and Oliver Queen, and asks Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) out on a date. However, when a new villain (Peter Stormare, Fargo) emerges, who has claimed the name Vertigo from the recently deceased Count, Oliver is caught off-guard and someone close to him is hurt. Oliver and a newly suited-up Roy (Colton Haynes) take on the Count.



A series of abductions and murders in Seattle send the BAU seeking an UnSub who was abused in the past and is out for revenge. Meanwhile, Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) heads to Texas to confront the man she shot while defending Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) and herself, as he waits on Death Row.  

10 p.m. – LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT – “Producer's Backend” – NEW EPISODE

Amaro (Danny Pino) reports to the scene of a car crash where Hollywood starlet Tensley Evans (Stevie Lynn Jones, CRISIS) tries to flirt her way out of an arrest. Amaro's by-the-book handling of the situation gets him back on the SVU squad, just in time to investigate Tensley's latest offense – the statutory rape of a 15 year-old boy. But Benson (Mariska Hargitay) suspects that underlying issues may have led to Tensley's downward spiral – is the victimizer also a victim?

Thursday, Oct. 9

8 p.m. – GREY’S ANATOMY – “Got to Be Real” – NEW EPISODE

Owen (Kevin McKidd) introduces Callie (Sara Ramirez) to the Veterans Hospital patients in hopes that she will help them with her robotic limb lab. Jo (Camilla Luddington) becomes jealous of Alex (Justin Chambers) and Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) friendship, and Maggie (Kelly McCreary, EMILY OWENS, M.D.) continues to confide in Richard (James Pickens, Jr.). Meanwhile, Alex and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) prepare to go in front of the board.

9 p.m. – SAVING HOPE – “Stand By Me” – NEW EPISODE

Alex (Erica Durance) is introduced to her “buddy colleague” on her first day back to work since her stabbing. Joel (Daniel Gillies) finds himself involved in a deadly situation at a local street clinic, and Gavin (Kristopher Turner) has a euphoric experience with the help of an unlikely ally. Encore presentation of SAVING HOPE airs Saturday, Oct. 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CTV.

10 p.m. – HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER – “Smile, or Go to Jail"” – NEW EPISODE

Annalise (Viola Davis) helps Paula Murphy (Ana Ortiz, UGLY BETTY), a suburban soccer mom, get released from jail after she was arrested for a misdemeanor, but just as she's about to walk free, she's arrested again by the FBI in connection for felony murder. Annalise (Davis) and her students are tasked with proving her innocence which will depend on the testimony from another suspect in the case. Meanwhile, the Middleton University president asks Annalise (Davis) to represent Griffin O' Reilly (Lenny Platt, BLUE BLOODS), the star quarterback who has also been linked to Lila's disappearance but she's unable to make a decision until she knows that Sam (Tom Verica) wasn't involved in the case.

Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) are temporarily assigned new partners when an officer is outed and his current partner won't ride with him. As a contentious city council vote on the future of the Arkham district approaches, politicians from both sides are in danger. Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) must race to protect the council, and an old friend visits Gordon.

9 p.m. – FOREVER – “The Pugilist Break” – NEW EPISODE – REGULAR TIMESLOT

What looks like a drug overdose death of a reformed junkie-turned community activist results in Henry (Ioan Gruffudd) and Jo (Alana de la Garza) tracking a murderer. The complex investigation involves dirty dealings between a real estate developer and a community organizer with millions of dollars at stake.

9 p.m. – MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. – “I Will Face My Enemy” – NEW EPISODE

While on a mission to learn more about the secrets of the mysterious writing, Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) finds himself attacked by the only person he can trust, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen). Meanwhile, the rest of the team is trapped in an explosive situation, and it's up to Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) to save them -- but is he up to it?

Wednesday, Oct. 15

8 p.m. – ARROW – “Sara” – NEW EPISODE

Lance (Paul Blackthorne) calls the Arrow (Stephen Amell) when another archer appears in town and starts skewering businessmen. Diggle (David Ramsey) uses A.R.G.U.S. to find the archer's identity; he is a man named Simon Lacroix (Matt Ward, REMEDY), who goes by the codename Komodo. However, the team hits a rough patch with the mission and gets help from a surprising source - Laurel (Katie Cassidy).

9 p.m. – CRIMINAL MINDS – “A Thousand Suns” – NEW EPISODE

When a passenger jet crashes in Colorado, the BAU team is called to build a profile around the suspicious circumstances. Also, the case hits close to home for Kate (Jennifer Love Hewitt), who is reminded of a family tragedy.
