CTV Two wraps up the month of April with new episodes of UNFORGETTABLE, AMERICAN IDOL, THE VOICE, THE TOMORROW PEOPLE, SHARK TANK, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, REIGN, and ANGER MANAGEMENT. Plus, encore episodes of DANCING WITH THE STARS, CTV’s hit original series MASTERCHEF CANADA and original comedy SPUN OUT.

Programming Highlights for April 14 – 30 on CTV Two include:

  • The top finalists take the stage and perform live in hopes of impressing the celebrity judges on AMERICAN IDOL (April 16)
  • Paul Wesley, who stars as vampire Stefan Salvatore, makes his directorial debut on an all-new episode of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (April 17)
  • Carrie (Poppy Montgomery) and Al (Dylan Walsh) hunt for a recently paroled criminal who may be looking to settle other scores on UNFORGETTABLE (April 18)
  • The Top 12 artists perform in front of celebrity coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira, and Usher in thefirst live show on THE VOICE (April 21)

Monday, April 14

7 p.m. – THE TOMORROW PEOPLE – “Modus Vivendi” – NEW EPISODE

Stephen's (Robbie Amell) hard work as a double agent seems to be paying off with a potential truce between the Tomorrow People and Ultra. Meanwhile, with the help of Hillary (Alexa Vega, Bounty Killer), Stephen tries to contact his dad (Jeffrey Pierce) once again.

8 p.m. – THE VOICE – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS

The Top 20 competitors perform in front of Following the Top 20 performances,  celebrity coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira, and Usher eliminate two artists from their respective teams.

 

Tuesday, April 15

8 p.m. – THE VOICE – NEW EPISODE

The Top 20 remaining performers move on to the final phase of the competition, the Live Shows, as part of the Top 12.

 

9 p.m. – ANGER MANAGEMENT – “Charlie and the Re-Virginized Hooker” – NEW EPISODE

When Charlie (Charlie Sheen) keeps choosing sex over work, Jordan (Laura Bell Bundy) convinces his girlfriend, Sasha (Anna Hutchison), to cut him off for six months.

Wednesday, April 16
8 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – LIVE

The competition heats up when the top finalists take the stage in hopes of impressing the judges, as they perform live on AMERICAN IDOL.

 

Thursday, April 17

8 p.m. – THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – “Resident Evil” – NEW EPISODE

Both Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) are suddenly having unsettling dreams of an alternate version of the life they might have had together. Enzo (Michael Malarkey) gives Damon (Ian Somerhalder) unwanted relationship advice, then admits he is searching for a woman he loved decades before while he was held captive by the Augustines. Paul Wesley makes his directorial debut.

 

9 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – NEW EPISODE – LIVE

One finalist's journey comes to an end as America's vote is revealed live in the all-new results episode of AMERICAN IDOL.

9:30 p.m. – SPUN OUT – “Middle Aged Men in the Hall” – NEW TO CTV TWO

Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton) surprises Dave (Dave Foley) with what she thinks is the perfect 50th birthday present: a reunion of his former Goth band mates (THE KIDS IN THE HALL) from high school. But even more disturbing than the sight of seeing middle-aged men with pale faces and black eyeliner, is the fact that they have come to fulfill their 30-year-old pact to kill themselves when the last one turns 50.

 

Friday, April 18

8 p.m. – UNFORGETTABLE – “Manhunt” – NEW EPISODE

When a defense attorney is killed, Carrie (Poppy Montgomery) and Al (Dylan Walsh) hunt for a recently paroled criminal who may be looking to settle other scores.


9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – NEW EPISODE

Two Dallas entrepreneurs demonstrate their smart light bulb which can be programmed from a mobile phone for home or business. Then, parents from Washington unveil their subscription service of carefully curated children's books, but they only have 85 subscribers to date.

Saturday, April 19

7 p.m. – MASTERCHEF CANADA – “Family Style” – NEW TO CTV TWO

The final six home cooks are confronted with a classic MASTERCHEF Team Challenge: The Restaurant Takeover – and the pressure is raised considerably when the red and blue teams learn that the professional kitchen they’ll be taking over belongs to one of the MASTERCHEF CANADA judges! After an extremely close call, the losing team faces a beloved Canadian classic in a Pressure Test – but this well-known sweet treat is deceptively difficult to master.

 

8 p.m. – DANCING WITH THE STARS – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – NEW TO CTV TWO

The remaining celebrity competitors and their partners take the stage to compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy, and another couple is eliminated from the competition.

Sunday, April 20

7:30 p.m. – SPUN OUT – “Thrill Of The Chaste” – NEW TO CTV TWO

When Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton) deflowers a virginal pop singer (and a huge client of DLPR), making her the most hated woman in the world, Beckett (Paul Campbell) and Nelson (Al Mukadam) must find a way to help her out of this mess. The circumstance is further complicated when the band member announces their engagement. When faced with the choice between saving his client and saving his daughter, Dave (Dave Foley) is shocked to discover that his instincts were to save his client. So he decides to become less of a ruthless shark, and more of a ‘dear old Dad.’

 

8 p.m. – REIGN – “No Exit” – NEW TO CTV TWO

When Mary's brother James (Joe Doyle, RAW) arrives in France and convinces Mary (Adelaide Kane) to return to Scotland, Francis (Toby Regbo) is suspicious and uncovers a plot that would destroy her, which causes a rift between them.

 

Monday, April 21

7 p.m. – THE TOMORROW PEOPLE – “A Sort of Homecoming” – NEW EPISODE

Stephen (Robbie Amell) now knows the truth about the machine, and that The Founder (Simon Merrells), who has been using him, needs John (Luke Mitchell) and Cara's (Peyton List) help to destroy it. Meanwhile, Russell (Aaron Yoo) and other Tomorrow People have lost hope that they will ever find The Refuge and choose to head out on their own.

 

8 p.m. – THE VOICE – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – LIVE

The Top 12 competitors perform live as they vie for a chance to win the title of being named “The Voice.”

Tuesday, April 22

8 p.m. – THE VOICE – NEW EPISODE – LIVE

In the first live elimination of the season, the three performer with the least number of votes face elimination and sing once again in hopes of staying in the competition. One will remain by surviving the instant save, and the other two will be eliminated.

Wednesday, April 23

8 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – LIVE

The competition heats up when the top finalists take the stage in hopes of impressing the judges, as they perform live on AMERICAN IDOL.

 

Thursday, April 24

8 p.m. – THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – “Man on Fire” – NEW EPISODE

Stefan (Paul Wesley) tries to distract Elena (Nina Dobrev) from obsessing about the state of her relationship with Damon (Ian Somerhalder), while Bonnie (Kat Graham) does her best to be realistic about how the changes happening on the Other Side will affect her existence as the Anchor.

 

9 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – NEW EPISODE – LIVE

One finalist's journey comes to an end as America's vote is revealed live in the all-new results episode of AMERICAN IDOL.

Friday, April 25

8 p.m. – UNFORGETTABLE – “East of Islip” – NEW EPISODE

Eliot (Dallas Roberts) agrees to let Carrie (Poppy Montgomery) and Al (Dylan Walsh) use his Hamptons beach house in exchange for their help with a local murder investigation, but uncovering the secrets of the tight-knit community prove to be a challenge.

 

9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – NEW EPISODE

An 11-year-old fashion aficionado from Tennessee has already captured Oprah's attention with his line of hand-crafted bow ties for people of all ages which he makes with his family members. Then, two men from Utah present their new hot beverage made from roasted cocoa beans, roasted like coffee, and packed with antioxidants.

 

Saturday, April 26

7 p.m. – MASTERCHEF CANADA – “Not-Your-Average Joe” – NEW TO CTV TWO

It’s the most challenging Mystery Box of the season when the finalists face the tough love of American MASTERCHEF judge Joe Bastianich, and create a dish using his favourite ingredients. The winning home cook gets a strategic advantage in the Elimination Challenge that determines who will go through to the MASTERCHEF CANADA finale.

 

8 p.m. – DANCING WITH THE STARS – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – NEW TO CTV TWO

Sunday, April 27

7:30 p.m. –– SPUN OUT – “Toy Stories” – NEW TO CTV TWO

Forced to work on a Saturday, Beckett (Paul Campbell) and Nelson’s (Al Mukadam) friendship is tested when they argue about a project they did together in elementary school.  Dave (Dave Foley) enlists Abby’s (Holly Deveaux) help on a secret project that makes Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton) jealous... until she discovers the project is a heartfelt and touching surprise just for her. The episode also features musical guest, Best Coast.

 

8 p.m. – REIGN – “Toy Soldiers” – NEW TO CTV TWO

When Mary's uncle, the Duke of Guise (Gil Darnell, All Things to All Men), arrives in France with devastating news about her mother, Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Francis (Toby Regbo) realize they are torn between putting their own countries first or saving their marriage.

Monday, April 28

7 p.m. – THE TOMORROW PEOPLE – “Kill Switch” – NEW EPISODE

Wednesday, April 30

The competition heats up when the remaining finalists take the stage in hopes of impressing the judges, as they perform live on AMERICAN IDOL.
