CTV Two begins May with the season finales of THE TOMORROW PEOPLE, THE MENTALIST, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, REIGN, and SHARK TANK. Plus, all-new episodes of UNFORGETTABLE, AMERICAN IDOL, THE VOICE, ANGER MANAGEMENT, DANCING WITH THE STARS, and encore episodes of CTV’s hit original series MASTERCHEF CANADA and SPUN OUT.

Programming Highlights for May 1 – 18 on CTV Two include:

  • Stephen (Robbie Amell) understands that he must be the one to stop The Machine and the extermination of humanity, but he fears he may be too late on the season finale of THE TOMORROW PEOPLE  (May 5)
  • Another celebrity and their dancing partner are eliminated from the competition on DANCING WITH THE STARS (May 5) NEW DAY AND TIME
  • The artists with the lowest number of votes are revealed live and must sing once more for the viewers' sole Instant Save on THE VOICE (May 6)

Thursday, May 1

8 p.m. – THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – “What Lies Beneath” – NEW EPISODE

When Tyler (Michael Trevino) turns up at the Salvatore house with the news that Markos' (Raffi Barsoumian) plan to break the witches' curse puts Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) in imminent danger, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) suggests they hide out in the remote cabin once owned by Caroline's (Candice Accola) father.

 

9 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – NEW EPISODE – LIVE

One finalist's journey comes to an end as America's vote is revealed live in the all-new results episode of AMERICAN IDOL.

 

Friday, May 2

8 p.m. – UNFORGETTABLE – “Omega Hour” – NEW EPISODE

Eliot (Dallas Roberts) and the mayor (Susan Blackwell) are trapped in an elevator by a cybercriminal who threatens to send them to their death, forcing Carrie (Poppy Montgomery) to work from within the building to thwart his plans.


9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – NEW EPISODE

An entrepreneur from California wants an investment in his e-commerce flower business, which offers bouquets shipped direct from farms on an active volcano for just $40 flat. Then, two friends from New York pitch their compostable party tableware made from renewable plant materials.

Saturday, May 3

7 p.m. – MASTERCHEF CANADA – “And Then There Were 2” – SEASON FINALE – NEW TO CTV TWO

After surviving a season of extraordinary challenges, the final two home cooks go head-to-head in a three-course culinary battle. With their families and former opponents there to cheer them on, they battle it out for $100,000, the MASTERCHEF CANADA trophy and a life-changing title.

 

8 p.m. – DANCING WITH THE STARS – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – NEW TO CTV TWO

The remaining celebrity competitors and their partners take the stage to compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy, and another couple is eliminated from the competition.

Sunday, May 4

7:30 p.m. – SPUN OUT – “Daved and Confused” – NEW TO CTV TWO

When Dave (Dave Foley) throws out his back just before his meeting with a big client, Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton) and Nelson (Al Mukadam) take it upon themselves to spike his coffee with the pain medication he refused to take. Little did they know, Dave was already self-medicating – not with painkillers, but with a little extra booze. Meanwhile, Nelson asks Beckett (Paul Campbell) to help him write a speech, but what starts off as a favour, turns into Beckett’s most difficult writing challenge.

 

8 p.m. – REIGN – “Higher Ground” – NEW TO CTV TWO

Mary (Adelaide Kane) enlists a mercenary to help her, which forces her to realize there are sacrifices and lives she is willing to risk to save her country. Francis (Toby Regbo) embraces his role as Dauphin to lead France in a brutal battle against England, and finds a new ally in Leith (Jonathan Keltz).

Monday, May 5

7 p.m. – THE TOMORROW PEOPLE – “Son of Man” – SEASON FINALE

Russell (Aaron Yoo) realizes his alliance with The Founder (Simon Merrells) was a mistake, and tries to make up for his decision by saving Cara (Peyton List) from an Ultra ambush. Stephen (Robbie Amell) understands that he must be the one to stop The Machine and the extermination of humanity, but he fears he may be too late. Russell offers up a plan to help Stephen, but he is going to need everyone's help, including John (Luke Mitchell) and Astrid (Madeleine Mantock), if they are going to have any chance of survival.

8 p.m. – DANCING WITH THE STARS – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – LIVE – NEW DAY

The remaining celebrity competitors and their partners take the stage to compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy, and another couple is eliminated from the competition.

 

Tuesday, May 6

8 p.m. – THE VOICE – NEW EPISODE – LIVE

During the live results show, the artists with the lowest number of votes are revealed and sing once more for the viewers' sole Instant Save. The winning singer joins the top vote-getters in the Semi-Final Performances.

 

9 p.m. – ANGER MANAGEMENT – “Charlie Catches Jordan in the Act” – NEW EPISODE

Charlie (Charlie Sheen) goes ballistic when a drunken Jordan (Laura Bell Bundy) makes out with a prisoner.

Wednesday, May 7
8 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – LIVE

The competition heats up when the Top 4 finalists take the stage in hopes of impressing the judges, as they perform live on AMERICAN IDOL.

 

Thursday, May 8

8 p.m. – THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – “Promised Land” – NEW EPISODE

Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) escape from Markos' (Raffi Barsoumian) control, only to find themselves stranded in a remote location. Stefan gets philosophical with Elena about her relationship with Damon (Ian Somerhalder).

 

9 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – NEW EPISODE – LIVE

One finalist's journey comes to an end as America's vote is revealed live in the all-new results episode of AMERICAN IDOL.

 

Friday, May 9

8 p.m. – UNFORGETTABLE – “Reunion” – NEW EPISODE

When a high school classmate of Carrie's (Poppy Montgomery) is murdered at her reunion, she must revisit her memories as a teenager for clues to the motive.


9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – NEW EPISODE

Self-professed wine connoisseur Kevin O'Leary gives advice to a woman from California on her lighter, healthier alternative to a full-bodied wine. Likewise, Robert Herjavec has some suggestions for a former merchant marine from Washington on his innovative, deep-sea treasure hunting business.

Sunday, May 11

7:30 p.m. – SPUN OUT – “Break Up Like Beckett” – NEW TO CTV TWO                      

When Dave (Dave Foley) discovers that his former wingman (Jason Priestly, CALL ME FITZ) – both in PR and with the ladies – is gay, he embraces the ‘gay lifestyle’ a little too hard. Nelson (Al Mukadam) and Abby (Holly Deveaux) help Beckett (Paul Campbell) break his pattern of breaking up with women for the smallest of reasons. Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton) enlists Bryce’s (Darcy Michael) help to dump her boyfriend.

 

8 p.m. – REIGN – “Long Live the King” – NEW TO CTV TWO

Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Catherine (Megan Follows) form an unlikely alliance when deciding how to deal with the increasingly manic King Henry (Alan Van Sprang), which puts Francis’ (Toby Regbo) life in jeopardy. Bash (Torrance Coombs) finds a boy who lived to tell about his encounter with the Darkness, which makes Bash determined to end it at any cost.

 

Monday, May 12

9 p.m. – ANGER MANAGEMENT – “Charlie Spends the Night with Lacey” – NEW EPISODE

Charlie (Charlie Sheen) spends the night with Lacey (Noureen DeWulf) to keep her from killing her ex-boyfriend.

Wednesday, May 14

8 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – LIVE

The competition heats up when the top finalists take the stage in hopes of impressing the judges, as they perform live on AMERICAN IDOL.

 

Thursday, May 15

8 p.m. – THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – “Home” – SEASON FINALE

Heartbroken by an unexpected tragedy, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is focused on holding himself together, while pushing Bonnie (Kat Graham) harder than ever to find a way to stop the disintegration of the Other Side. Elena (Nina Dobrev) takes matters into her own hands and demands that Liv (Penelope Mithcell) and Luke (Chris Broshu) help her, but Liv refuses to cooperate until Caroline (Candice Accola) provides her with some personal motivation.

Sunday, May 18

7:30 p.m. – SPUN OUT – “Carpoolers”– NEW TO CTV TWO

Beckett (Paul Campbell) is shocked to discover that his gay best friend Nelson (Al Mukadam) slept with his college sweetheart – the very woman he lost his virginity to. (Beckett was a late bloomer). The discovery leads to a series of accusations and revelations that threaten to destroy the guys’ friendship. Bryce (J.P. Manoux) is insulted to find out that he’s the only one in the office who didn’t get a business card, and Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton) goes to great extremes to prove her politeness to a waitress.

 

8 p.m. – REIGN – “Slaughter of Innocence” – SEASON FINALE – NEW TO CTV TWO

When the King's (Alan Van Sprang) madness and cruelty reaches a fevered pitch, Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Francis (Toby Regbo) decide to take action. Their choices could change the course of history, but an unforeseen terror brewing in the woods could cost them, and their friends, everything.
