CTV Two Programming Highlights: Nov. 15 – 30

November concludes on CTV Two with live performances on THE VOICE, aspiring junior home cooks on MASTERCHEF JUNIOR, and the season finale of DANCING WITH THE STARS. Plus, all-new episodes of THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA, SHARK TANK, LAW & ORDER: SVU, REIGN, and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.

Programming Highlights for Nov. 15 – 30 on CTV Two and CTV GO include:

  • Live performances heat up THE VOICE as America votes to eliminate two artists each week leading up to the finale (Nov. 17, Nov. 18, Nov. 24, and Nov. 25)
  • It's a three-legged cupcake race on MASTERCHEF JUNIOR and a special guest judge joins in the fun – Chef Gordon Ramsay’s mother (Nov. 18)
  • Detective Odafin “Fin” Tutuola (Ice-T) comes across leaked security footage of a violent domestic dispute in a parking garage, showing sportscaster A.J. Martin (Chad Coleman, THE WALKING DEAD) hit his girlfriend Paula (Meagan Good, DECEPTION) on LAW & ORDER: SVU (Nov. 19)
  • As Caroline (Candice Accola) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) prepare to host Friendsgiving at the dorm, they receive some hopeful news from Alaric (Matt Davis) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) about the Gemini Coven on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (Nov. 20)
  • Rising tensions lead to bloodshed on REIGN, as Vatican inquisitors perform barbaric acts on suspected Protestants (Nov. 20)

Below is a chronological listing of programming highlights for Nov. 15 – 30 on CTV Two and CTV GO. All programming is subject to change (All times ET/PT; visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times).

Sunday, Nov. 16

8 p.m. – DANCING WITH THE STARS – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS

The six remaining couples perform to a song and dance style voted on by viewers during "America's Choice" night. For the first time ever, viewers have creative control of the couples' first dance, asking fans throughout the week via Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for their input on wardrobe, set design, and visual effects. Each couple performs two full routines including an individual original dance and a trio dance. For the trio dance, couples have the opportunity to pick an eliminated pro or troupe member to enhance their performance and highlight the strengths of each star. At the end of the night, one couple is eliminated and five couples move on to the semi-finals.

 

Monday, Nov. 17

8 p.m. – THE VOICE – NEW EPISODE – “Live Top 12 Performances” – TWO HOURS

The Top 12 artists perform live in front of coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Pharrell Williams in advance of America's vote for the Top 10 artists. 

 

Tuesday, Nov. 18

8 p.m. – THE VOICE – “Live Results” – NEW EPISODE

America votes to eliminate two artists, with the remaining 10 moving on to the next phase of the competition.

 

9 p.m. – MASTERCHEF JUNIOR –“Mom Knows Best” – NEW EPISODE

The kids pair up in a three-legged challenge to create a delicious box of 12 cupcakes. Later, Chef Gordon Ramsay's mom visits the MASTERCHEF JUNIOR kitchen as a special guest judge, and the remaining junior home cooks have to prepare their own versions of one of Gordon's favorite dishes growing up.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 19

8 p.m. – THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA – "The Mystery of the Dysfunctional Dynasty"– NEW EPISODE

When a couple is found murdered in their apartment, Detective Laura Diamond (Debra Messing) and the team investigate to determine if a religious motive was at play. Meanwhile, at home a familiar - if not so friendly - face visits Laura and Jake (Josh Lucas) during their search to find a replacement nanny for the boys.

 

9 p.m. – LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT– “Spousal Privilege”– NEW EPISODE

Detective Odafin “Fin” Tutuola (Ice-T) comes across leaked security footage of a violent domestic dispute in a parking garage, showing sportscaster A.J. Martin (Chad Coleman, THE WALKING DEAD) hit his girlfriend Paula (Meagan Good, DECEPTION). While Fin and Benson (Mariska Hargitay) investigate the couple's lifestyle and history, Paula pushes back to keep her relationship and family intact. Benson turns to ADA Barba (Raúl Esparza) for help to convince Paula that her world doesn't have to revolve around A.J. Meanwhile, the case has an interesting effect on Rollins (Kelli Giddish) and Amaro's (Danny Pino) relationship.

 

Thursday, Nov. 20

8 p.m. – THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – “Fade Into You” – NEW EPISODE

As Caroline (Candice Accola) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) prepare to host Friendsgiving at the dorm, they receive some hopeful news from Alaric (Matt Davis) and Stefan (Paul Wesley), who have travelled to Portland to gather some information regarding the Gemini Coven. Tyler (Michael Trevino) is determined to help Liv (Penelope Mitchell, HEMLOCK GROVE) after she and Luke (Chris Brochu, MELISSA & JOEY) reveal some disturbing information about their witch lineage, and the impending plans their coven has for them.

 

9 p.m. – REIGN – “Terror of the Faithful”– NEW EPISODE

Tensions escalate between Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Francis (Toby Regbo) when Vatican inquisitors perform barbaric acts on anyone suspected of being a Protestant. After a brave proclamation, Lord Condé (Sean Teale) is abducted, resulting in a precarious situation with a surprising group of assailants. Catherine (Megan Follows) experiences an annoying setback when she plays matchmaker on behalf of a reluctant Claude (Rose Williams), while Narcisse (Craig Parker) offers a stranded Lola (Anna Popplewell) an innocent horse ride back to the castle, where a dark secret involving Francis is revealed.

 

Friday, Nov. 21

9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – NEW EPISODE

GoPro Founder and CEO Nick Woodman is a guest Shark in this action-packed episode. Pitches include a farmer from Ithaca, New York, who presents a healthier tortilla chip made from fresh-picked sweet corn; a man from Huntington Beach, California, presenting his scented manufactured fire logs; and a follow-up story on Evan Mendolson and Nick Morgan from San Diego, and their Tipsy Elves Ugly Christmas Sweater company, which Robert Herjavec invested in last season.

8 p.m. – DANCING WITH THE STARS – TWO HOURS

8 p.m. – THE VOICE – “Live Top 10 Performances”– NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS

The remaining Top 10 artists perform live in front of coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Pharrell Williams for America's vote.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 25

8 p.m. – THE VOICE – “Live Eliminations”– NEW EPISODE

America’s votes are revealed to determine which two artists will be eliminated from the competition.

 

9 p.m. – MASTERCHEF JUNIOR – “An Egg-Cellent Adventure” – NEW EPISODE

The remaining eight junior home cooks will have 10 minutes to fry as many perfect sunny side-up eggs as possible. Later, the kids dream big, and imagine owning and running their own restaurants. With only one hour, they will prepare the signature dishes that will one day anchor their menus.

 

Saturday, Nov. 29
