CTV Two Programming Highlights: Sept. 20-30

The fall season launches into full swing on CTV Two with season premieres of SHARK TANK, and UNDERCOVER BOSS. As the home to the country’s top unscripted programs, new episodes continue for THE X FACTOR, DANCING WITH THE STARS and THE VOICE, as well as AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, ANGER MANAGEMENT, and HOT IN CLEVELAND. Viewers can also enjoy comedy favourites from the beginning with MIKE & MOLLY at 10 p.m. and HOT IN CLEVELAND at 10:30 p.m., weeknights starting Sept. 16

Programming Highlights for Sept. 20-30 on CTV Two include:

  • Promising entrepreneurs return for the Season 5 premiere of SHARK TANK (Sept. 20)
  • The blind auditions continue in front of celebrity coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton on Part 2 of the Season 5 premiere of THE VOICE (Sept. 24) at a SPECIAL TIME  of 8 p.m.
  • The co-founder and CEO of Twin Peaks goes undercover in his popular sports bar on the Season 5 premiere of UNDERCOVER BOSS (Sept. 27)

Friday, Sept. 20

9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – SEASON PREMIERE

In the Season 5 premiere of SHARK TANK, sharks Barbara Corcoran and Lori Greiner go head-to-head for the first time ever, as two guys from Dallas, Texas hope to bring a little sweetness to the masses with their savoury cake balls. Plus, two doctors who are also brothers from Tucson, Arizona claim they have a social media cure for the old-school communication between patients and medical professionals. 

 

Saturday, Sept. 21

7 p.m. – OWNING MAHOWNEY (2003)

A bank manager (Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Moneyball) with a gambling problem and access to a multi-million dollar account gets into a messy situation. OWNING MAHOWNEY is based on the story of the largest one-man bank fraud in Canadian history

Sunday, Sept. 22

8 p.m. – AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL – “The Girl Whose Walk is TOO Good” – NEW EPISODE

Two model hopefuls get overly confident but end up booking no runway shows, which shatters their self-confidence. Then, one model hopeful gets distracted at a photo shoot because of her crush on one of the guys, and in a twist, two of the eliminated models get a chance to return to the competition.

Monday, Sept. 23

8 p.m. – DANCING WITH THE STARS – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – LIVE

The remaining celebrities and their partners take the stage to compete for the Mirror Ball trophy, as the first dancing partners of Season 17 are voted off and eliminated from the competition.

Tuesday, Sept. 24

8 p.m. – THE VOICE – SEASON PREMIERE – PART 2 – SPECIAL TIME – TWO HOURS

The blind auditions continue in front of a celebrity panel of coaches including Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, and Christina Aguilera. The strongest vocalists from across the country compete to be selected by one of the coaches and fight for a chance to win the title of "The Voice."

Wednesday, Sept. 25

8 p.m. – THE X FACTOR – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS

Friday, Sept. 27

8 p.m. – UNDERCOVER BOSS –“Twin Peaks” – SEASON PREMIERE

Randy Dewitt, co-founder and CEO of Twin Peaks, goes undercover in his popular sports bar and grill chain that features provocatively dressed waitresses. While there, he enlists the help of UNDERCOVER BOSS alum Coby Brooks, now one of the largest franchise owners at Twin Peaks, who shaves his head and also goes undercover as an inappropriate customer.

9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – NEW EPISODE

All five sharks join forces to make an entrepreneur a one million dollar offer. Plus, the Sharks are asked to take a bite into the chic canine fashion accessories business, and to invest in a breathalyzer app that could help save lives


Saturday, Sept. 28

7 p.m. – CTV TWO MOVIE – I ME WED (2007)

A successful woman sparks a media frenzy when she announces plans to marry herself in the Gemini-nominated, made-for-TV movie I ME WED. Isabel Darden (Erica Durance, SAVING HOPE) leads a charmed life, but the one thing missing from her daily routine is someone to share it with. Isabel decides that she only needs herself to be happy and quickly begins planning a wedding that makes headlines across the country. Just as Isabel becomes convinced that she's better off alone, along comes Colin (Paul Popowich, DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION).

Monday, Sept. 30

8 p.m. – DANCING WITH THE STARS – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – LIVE

The remaining celebrities and their partners will take the stage to compete for the Mirror Ball trophy, and the second celebrity and their dancing partner are voted off and eliminated from the competition.
