Discovery’s In-House Production Company, Exploration Production Inc., Honoured with Four Awards at the 2018 New York Festivals

– Exploration Production Inc. (EPI) takes home awards for DAILY PLANET, MIGHTY TRAINS, MIGHTY PLANES, and SATURN: INSIDE THE RINGS –

TORONTO (April 12, 2018) – Discovery applauds its internal production team, Exploration Production Inc. (EPI), on being honoured with four awards at this year’s New York Festivals World’s Best TV & Film Awards. Dedicated to both the television and film industries, the New York Festivals honour prime-time entertainment and compelling documentaries from 50 countries around the world, celebrating the achievements of the worldwide creative community and encourage the next generation of storytellers and talent. The 2018 New York Festivals has awarded the following EPI productions with honours:
  • MIGHTY TRAINS (Glacier Express): Gold Medal for “Travel and Tourism”
  • DAILY PLANET: Silver Medal for “Best Science and Technology Series”
  • SATURN: INSIDE THE RINGS: Bronze Medal for “Best Documentary/Special”
  • MIGHTY PLANES (Stargazer L-1011): Bronze Medal for “Best Science and Technology Episode”
