In the Season 2 premiere (Sunday, March 6 at 9 p.m. ET on E!), Caitlyn and her friends (Candis Cayne, Jennifer Finney Boylan, Chandi Moore, Kate Bornstein, and Zackary Drucker) go on an enlightening road trip from Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon, Tulsa, Kansas City, New Orleans, and beyond. Joining them is a new friend, Ella Giselle, an 18-year-old who's been taken under the wings of the more mature ladies, and who become her first transgender friends. The group of women loves and supports Caitlyn, but they also push her to reexamine her political beliefs, her understanding of being transgender, and her understanding of being a woman. Throughout the trip they open up about their own vulnerabilities and obstacles surrounding their relationships, careers, and families.
