To tweet this release:   TORONTO (June 2, 2015) – The competitors have the tools, but Canada has the power. The final three duos of Discovery’s new home renovation series, BLOOD, SWEAT & TOOLS were revealed during last night’s episode. The remaining not-so-handy duos are now set to hammer it out as they race to impress the program’s resident Experts with their workmanship, planning, and teamwork skills one last time during the series’ finale airing on Discovery this Monday, June 8 at 11 p.m. ET/ 10 p.m. PT. For the last eight weeks, the couples have worked to successfully complete Do It Yourself (DIY) home repair projects in a bid to be named “Most Improved”. In last night’s episode, Jesse and Holly (Blue Team) successfully completed the first challenge and were granted the game-changing prize of immunity – making them the first team to move on to the grand finale next week. Then, following the final challenge, Tyler and Danielle (Pink Team) and Fabian and Luayn (Red Team) joined the Blue Team as the Top 3 battling for the grand cash prize. With toolbelts fastened, the Top 3 couples’ fates are now left in Canada’s hands. How To Vote: Viewers are now invited to cast their votes for their favourite duo via The Gamebench, the series’ complementary digital entertainment experience; on Twitter using the particular team’s hashtag:  #VoteBSTBlue , #VoteBSTPink, #VoteBSTRed; via the show’s Facebook page; or text “BLUE”, “PINK”, or “RED” to 393939. As part of the series’ unique interactive digital engagement platorm, The Gamebench, viewers who have played along on throughout the season have earned additional votes, and now have a greater say in choosing the winning pair. It’s not too late to earn extra voting power as the playing continues right up until the finale broadcast on Monday, when the Experts announce the BLOOD, SWEAT & TOOLS winners of $50,000, LIVE during the show! **Media Note** Screeners, photography, and press kit for BLOOD, SWEAT & TOOLS available online at

From the producers of MASTERCHEF CANADA and CANADA’S WORST DRIVER comes the new series BLOOD, SWEAT & TOOLS, featuring a lively battle among five of Canada’s most inept home renovating couples competing for a $50,000 cash prize. Set in the iconic cottage country of Northern Ontario, BLOOD, SWEAT & TOOLS features duos of hapless handypersons performing all manner of home renovation challenges, from installing toilets and outdoor showers, to building gazebos and repairing roofs. The teams work to impress three experts – Rob Koci of Canadian Contractor magazine, fourth-generation tradesman and carpenter, Helder Brum, and power tool expert Hillary Manion – with Do It Yourself (DIY) home repair projects in a bid to be named “Most Improved.” The couples must perform these DIY tasks quickly and to exacting specifications. Then, following eight episodes of hammering it out to stay alive in the competition, the final decision is left up to Canada with viewers determining the winning couple LIVE during the season finale episode.

BLOOD, SWEAT & TOOLS is an original format series produced by Proper Television in association with Discovery Canada. The series is executive produced by Guy O’Sullivan and Jennifer Scott. Blair Ricard is the series producer. For Discovery, Stan Lipsey is Executive Producer, and Edwina Follows is Director of Commissioning and Production.
