Also featured is the two-hour charity special MASTERCHEF CELEBRITY SHOWDOWN, where celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Terry Crews (BROOKLYN NINE-NINE), and more compete for culinary bragging rights and a grand prize, donated to their charity of choice. Thursday, Dec. 29 3 p.m. – RACHEL ALLEN – ALL THINGS SWEET Life really is sweet as much-loved chef Rachel Allen showcases delicious recipes in a scrumptious series packed with tips to help viewers create these treats themselves. Her recipes for desserts, cakes, and confectionery feature everything from show-stopping dinner party finales to impressive afternoon goodies. Friday, Dec. 30 3 p.m. - BRITAIN’S BEST BAKERY Sixty bakeries make their bid to take the ultimate accolade of best British bakery in this competition series. Each day brings an array of mouth-watering recipes, regional specialities, and delicious treats as the bakeries put themselves on the line to be scrutinised by judges Mich Turner and Peter Sidwell. THE HOUSE THAT 100K BUILT Marathon Saturday, Dec. 31 at 3 p.m. – Sunday, Jan. 1 at 6 a.m. Viewers can get their New Year’s resolutions for the perfect home in order, drawing inspiration from this renovation marathon. Architectural journalist and critic Kieran Long and award winning architect Piers Taylor follow self-builders as they take on the biggest gamble of their lives: building their own house from scratch. A PLACE IN THE SUN Marathon Sunday, Jan. 1 at 3 p.m. – Monday, Jan. 2 at 6 a.m. Each episode follows a British couple visiting three to four properties in a sunny foreign locale, in search of the perfect vacation home. With the help of a nutritionist, they analyse their groceries, and set a target for how much the family could save. Are they too attached to big name products? To find out, everything is be de-branded. In the end, each family chooses between the food they normally buy and the excellent, cheaper alternatives. MARTHA & SNOOPS POTCLUCK DINNER PARTY Marathon Monday, Jan. 2 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Celebrity Chef Martha Stewart and hip hop legend Snoop Dogg may seem like an unlikely pair, but together they can throw a great dinner party! In each episode, the pair invites their celebrity friends over for a half-baked evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation, and fun where nothing is off limits.
