Introducing The Lede, Bell Media’s New Media Site

On February 27, Bell Media’s publicity department introduces The Lede, a brand-new media site experience that’s bigger, better, and more engaging than ever before. More than just a resource for media releases and assets, The Lede is a modern one-stop-shop for media to access breaking news, screeners, trailers, and other assets for Bell Media brands and programming. Formerly, the media site has been redesigned to fit your needs, including new and updated features:
  • New priority content will be highlighted on the home page, making it easier for you to access breaking news, media releases, photography, screeners, and trailers.
  • The Lede’s brand pages have revamped, offering priority content highlighted front and centre, and easier searching capabilities.
  • Show pages now act as a digital press kit, with everything you need all on one page. You can find news, media releases, synopses, cast and character bios, screeners, and current publicity contacts all on a show page. We’ve also simplified the process to download high-res images.
  • A new addition to The Lede is Today’s Lede Stories. This section of the site is a daily roundup of programming highlights, announcements, and events at Bell Media. Today’s Lede Stories is a tool for media to stay up–to-date on the latest entertainment news, and look ahead at what’s coming up later that week.
