TORONTO (September 11, 2015) – The most-watched new series from the 2014/15 TV season THE FLASH is racing onto CraveTV today. The massive hit series begins streaming today before its highly anticipated Season 2 premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV. The series will become the new anchor for CraveTV’s popular Superhero Collection which also includes fellow hits ARROW, MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., SMALLVILLE, and more. The Emmy®-nominated superhero series bolted out of the gate with its Season 1 premiere last year on CTV, earning praise from critics and drawing a massive average audience in Canada of 2.5 million viewers in its debut fall season. The film stars Eric Fryer (THE BEACHCOMBERS) as Fox, Robert Duvall as Fox’s publicist, and Chris Makepeace (My Bodyguard, Vamp) as Fox’s brother Darrell. The film won six Genie Awards including Best Picture and Best Actor (Fryer). Also of note, the film was the first television film made for a cable network. THE NORMAL HEART – begins streaming on CraveTV Sept. 25 Written by Larry Kramer and based on his 1985 play, the HBO Film THE NORMAL HEART documents the HIV-AIDS crisis in New York in the early 1980s. It stars Mark Ruffalo (The Avengers, Shutter Island), Matt Bomer (White Collar, In Time), Taylor Kitsch (FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, Savages), Jim Parsons (THE BIG BANG THEORY), and Julia Roberts.
