– Longtime CTV Regina Sports Director and CFL ON TSN sideline reporter joins the anchor desk of Southern Saskatchewan’s #1 newscast –

REGINA (January 3, 2018)CTV Regina announced today that Lee Jones has been named co-anchor of CTV NEWS AT SIX, beginning Monday, Jan. 8. Jones assumes his new role alongside co-anchor Heather Anderson on the 6 p.m. anchor desk following more than 16 years covering local sports for CTV Regina, as well as serving as a CFL ON TSN sideline reporter for Saskatchewan Roughriders games.

“Lee is a formidable broadcaster with nearly two decades’ experience covering local news and sports,” said J.C. Most recently, Jones served as Sports Director for CTV News Regina. He is the recipient of the 2016 Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) National Sports Award – Small/Medium Market for his story “Gabby, Meeting a Hero,” which follows local cerebral palsy sufferer Gabby Wuschke and her journey to meet her sports hero, Canadian curler and Olympic gold medallist Jennifer Jones.
