Viewers can begin 2017 on the right foot with the help of Gusto’s new January programming schedule, featuring a slew of motivational, healthy-living series. The incomparable Jamie Oliver is back to inspire viewers to eat better while spending less in his series SAVE WITH JAMIE, Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET beginning Jan. 3. Then, in the new, one-hour series EAT WELL FOR LESS airing Fridays at 9 p.m. ET beginning Jan. 6, viewers learn that homemade meals don’t have to cost a fortune. Immediately following at 10 p.m. ET is the brand-new original Gusto cooking series THE URBAN VEGETARIAN. Hosted by nutritionist Desiree Nielsen, the vegetarian foodie whips up easy-to-make dishes with a healthy, plant-based twist. At 10:30 p.m. ET, fun-loving chef Spencer Watts is back with tasty seafood dishes, in new episodes of the original series FISH THE DISH. New to Gusto this month is the wine lover’s series UNCORKED, airing Sundays at 10 p.m. ET beginning Jan. 29.  Finally, all-new episodes of original cooking series ONE WORLD KITCHEN continue all month long on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET and 10:30 p.m. ET. The optimistic, inventive, and helpful series shows that, especially during frugal times, a few clever tricks in the kitchen can keep the costs down, the spirits up, and the food looking – and tasting – fantastic. In the first episode, Oliver cooks up a glorious mothership roast brisket of beef with all the trimmings, and then turns the leftover beef into an incredible Korean stir-fried rice. LORRAINE’S PASCALE: HOW TO BE A BETTER COOK Popular chef Lorraine Pascale also heats up Gusto’s January schedule with her new 30-minute series, LORRAINE’S PASCALE: HOW TO BE A BETTER COOK, airing Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET beginning Jan. 18. In this fresh-new cooking series, Pascale shows people with no kitchen confidence how to cook impressive meals. This includes chicken, cashew nut, and basil stir fry, sweet and sour pork loin ribs, mango and white chocolate cake with toasted coconut, and more. FRIDAY NIGHTS Viewers can cozy up on Friday nights beginning Jan. 6, with course upon course of exciting food programming.
  • First up is the one-hour series EAT WELL FOR LESS, airing at 9 p.m. ET, which follows experts Gregg Wallace and award-winning green grocer Chris Bavin as they try to prove that families can eat well, while spending less money. In each episode, the resident experts show a new family how to shop, cook, and eat for less.
  • Immediately following at 10 p.m. ET is the series premiere of THE URBAN VEGETARIAN, the brand-new, original series from Gusto Worldwide Media. The stylish cooking show follows urbanite host Desiree Nielsen as she transforms everyday veggies into delightful dishes. Each episode features enticing ideas for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Then, at 10:30 p.m. ET, the playful and delicious original series FISH THE DISH returns to the Gusto schedule with brand-new episodes. The 30-minute series follows chef Spencer Watts as he demonstrates just how fast, easy, and fun fish recipes are to make, as he plates up four unique seafood dishes in each episode.
  • Additional lifestyle programming coming to Gusto in January includes THE HOUSE THAT 100K BUILT, airing Sundays at 8 p.m. ET beginning Jan. 29. The series follows architectural journalist and critic Kieran Long and award-winning architect Piers Taylor as they follow self-builders taking on the biggest gamble of their lives.
  • Then at 10 p.m. ET, viewers learn all about how to become a Master Sommelier, in the brand-new series UNCORKED. The one-hour series follows six aspiring master sommeliers as they prepare for the Court of Masters Sommelier exam, one of the world’s most difficult exams. If the exam is passed, members enter a club with just over 200 members worldwide, and are granted access to the most desirable jobs in the entire food and wine industry.
Global flavours continue all month long with brand-new episodes of original Canadian cooking series ONE WORLD KITCHEN, Mondays at 10 p.m. ET and 10:30 p.m., ET.
