Meghan McPeak Joins TSN 1050 Toronto as New Toronto Raptors Studio Host

TORONTO (September 30, 2016) – TSN today announced that Meghan McPeak is joining TSN 1050 Radio in Toronto as a studio host for the station’s live radio coverage of the Toronto Raptors. McPeak joins TSN 1050, the Raptors’ official radio broadcaster, to host pre-game, intermission, and post-game coverage alongside analyst Duane Watson. TSN 1050 kicks off the new Toronto Raptors season with the team’s first pre-season game as they face off against Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and the new-look Golden State Warriors tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 1) at 6:30 p.m. ET on TSN 1050 Radio in Toronto. McPeak made history with the team during the 2015-16 season, becoming the first female play-by-play commentator in the NBA’s D-League. Prior to joining Raptors 905, McPeak served as play-by-play commentator for the Orangeville A’s (formerly Brampton) of the NBL Canada for two seasons, and handled play-by-play and colour commentary for McMaster University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams for four seasons. She has also guest hosted TSN Radio 1050 Toronto’s 1-ON-1 with Duane Watson and Will Strickland, contributed to’s Three Man Weave blog, and appeared as a guest analyst on Bell TV’s OPEN GYM: FAST BREAK, and NBA TV Canada’s The Hangout. A Hamilton native, McPeak is a graduate of Humber’s Radio Broadcasting program, where she also competed as a varsity basketball player.
