TORONTO (January 5, 2016) – Much waves the winter blues goodbye with returning favourites and hilarious new series. Beginning Thursday, Jan. 14, the working hard/hardly working crew at TelAmericCorp is back in the Season 6 premiere of WORKAHOLICS at 10 p.m. ET, followed by the new 30-minute comedy IDIOTSITTER, following a cash-strapped Ivy League grad who finds herself the court-appointed guardian of a spoiled woman-child, at 10:30 p.m. Then, a group of friends share an irrational obsession with their men’s ice hockey team, The Chubbys, in the new 30-minute buddy comedy BENDERS premiering Monday, Jan. 25 at 10:30 p.m. ET.
February kicks off with a bang as Internet jokester and comedian extraordinaire Daniel Tosh returns to poke fun at the world’s online exploits in Season 8A of TOSH.0, Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 10 p.m. ET. Following TOSH.0, sex, relationships, and the taboo are no match for self-proclaimed "curious perv" Nikki Glaser (NIKKI & SARA LIVE) in her new series NOT SAFE WITH NIKKI GLASER at 10:30 p.m. ET. Then, it’s another season of adventure and shenanigans as Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer return for a third installment of BROAD CITY, Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 10 p.m. ET. Following BROAD CITY at 10:30 p.m. ET, 76-year-old Gigi (David Krumholtz, THE GOOD WIFE) inherits millions after her husband’s death, and embarks on a journey to fulfill her bucket list with her trusty male nurse sidekick in GIGI DOES IT. WORKAHOLICS – Thursday, Jan. 14 at 10 p.m. ET – Season 6 Premiere
Adam (Adam Devine, Pitch Perfect), Blake (Blake Anderson, Neighbors), and Ders (Anders Holm, The Interview) return in the sixth season of this 30-minute comedy. This season sees the guys – along with officemates Jillian (Jillian Bell, IDIOTSITTER), Alice (Maribeth Monroe, THE BRINK), Montez (Erik Griffin, FRANKLIN & BASH), and their friend Karl (Kyle Newacheck) – sell a new product geared toward women, seek out an old favorite porn video, and fight to build their social media presence online.
IDIOTSITTER – Thursday, Jan. 14 at 10:30 p.m. ET – Series Premiere
Cash strapped Ivy League grad Billie (Charlotte Newhouse, BRAINSTORM) finds herself the court-appointed guardian to Gene (Jillian Bell, 22 Jump Street), a mega-rich woman-child under house arrest in her daddy’s (Stephen Root, BOARDWALK EMPIRE) mansion. This 10-episode, 30-minute comedy also features Jennifer Elise Cox (WEB THERAPY) as Gene’s stepmother, and guest stars Randall Park (Trainwreck), Andrew W.K., and Chris Klein (MOTIVE, American Pie).
AMERICAN DAD! – Monday, Jan. 25 at 10 p.m. ET – Season 12 Premiere
This 30-minute comedy series, from the mind of FAMILY GUY genius Seth MacFarlane, follows super patriotic CIA agent Stan Smith (MacFarlane), his blissfully unaware wife, Francine (Wendy Schall, FAMILY GUY), left-wing activist daughter Hayley (Rachel MacFarlane, FAMILY GUY), and geeky-yet-confident son Steve (Scott Grimes, FAMILY GUY), and their misadventures in Langley Falls, Virgina. Along with a sassy inappropriate space alien named Roger (MacFarlane), and their attention-starved goldfish Klaus (Dee Bradley Baker, GRAVITY FALLS), who has the brain of a German Olympic skier, this unconventional family is just trying to figure out how to love and trust one another in a bi-partisan world.
BENDERS – Monday, Jan. 25 at 10:30 p.m. ET – Series Premiere
A team of friends are bonded by an irrational obsession with their men’s ice hockey team, The Chubbys in this 8-episode 30-minute buddy comedy. Paul Rosenberg (Andrew Schulz, RED EYE w/ TOM SHILLUE) is the insecure leader whose involvement with the team causes daily stress for him and his wife Karen (Lindsey Broad, 21 Jump Street). Along for the ride are Paul’s best friends Anthony (Chris Distefano), Dicky (Mark Gessner, THE RESIDUALS), and Sebalos (Ruy Iskandar). While their hockey skills are limited their passion is not, and their devotion to the game wreaks havoc on their everyday lives.
TOSH.0 – Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 10 p.m. ET – Season 8A Premiere
The infinite world of the Internet is a comedic playing field for host Daniel Tosh, as he explores online exploits from around the world. The series features the top viral clips of that week, and original videos starring well-known actors and comedians. Each episode also features the “Web Redemptions” segment, giving the subjects of infamous viral videos a chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment they’ve experienced.
NOT SAFE WITH NIKKI GLASER – Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 10:30 p.m. ET – Series Premiere
Nikki Glaser knows you're having sex, and she wants to hear all about it. This fast-paced new series is a place for comics to joke, learn, and share their personal stories about sex and relationships, featuring panel discussions, field pieces, and social experiments that are equal parts hilarious and titillating.
BROAD CITY – Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 10 p.m. ET – Season 3 PremiereThis season sees Abbi (Abbi Jacobson, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER) and Ilana (Ilana Glazer, The Night Before) deal with a slew of everyday challenges as they live their lives as young professionals in New York City – including a trip to the DMV, a rat in the apartment, going clubbing, taking on new job responsibilities, visiting Abbi's dad, and new hook ups.
