TORONTO (September 10, 2013) – One of Canada’s longest-running daily series, OFF THE RECORD WITH MICHAEL LANDSBERG , returns for its 17th season beginning today, Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 5 p.m. ET on TSN (encore at 7 p.m. ET on TSN2). Canada’s king of in-your-face debate returns with the biggest newsmakers in sports breaking down the industry’s most pressing issues.
Also returning for a 17th year is The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, which has sponsored OFF THE RECORD since the show debuted in 1997, making it one of the longest-running sponsorships in Canadian television.
Today’s OFF THE RECORD’s season premiere focuses on the impact of the NFL's retired player settlement for former athletes. Retired NHL enforcers Stu Grimson, Scott Parker along with former U.S. presidential candidate Ralph Nader discuss the agreement, the effect of injuries on athletes following their careers, and what it means for the hockey and sports world.
