VANCOUVER (April 14, 2014) – It will be a race unlike any other this weekend as Vancouver’s fastest qualifying babies crawl for a chance to win a $1,000 mall shopping spree in The Beat Baby Bunny Races. Set to blast from the starting blocks this Saturday, April 19 at 12:30 p.m., the unique baby race takes place at Guildford Town Centre, (10355 152nd Street, Surrey, B.C.) with THE BEAT 94.5’s Jonny, Holly, Nira, and producer Amy on-hand to witness the race and cheer on the cute crawling competitors.
Parents are encouraged to continue to post their personal “fastest baby” bragging rights at www.thebeat.com. On Thursday, April 17, JONNY, HOLLY, & NIRA will announce the names of the last two qualifying babies from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
“The Beat Baby Bunny Races is a fun way to unite with our listeners and their little ones during the Easter long-weekend,” said James Stuart, Regional Vice-President, Radio and TV Operations, Bell Media Vancouver. “We are delighted to take the show out of the studio and into the community, and look forward to spending time with listeners and shoppers for a fun-filled afternoon.”
In addition to the $1,000 prize awarded to the winner, the nine runner-ups in the race will also receive a $100 gift card to Guildford Town Centre.
