In the intimate and fun sit-down interview, Liz gets up close and personal with Swift as she dishes about her sound evolution on 1989, her style, and staying “open”. In their interview, Swift comments:

“…as a songwriter you’re supposed to stay very open to all the emotions and intuitions and fleeting impulses you have as a person; as a celebrity you’re taught that you’re supposed to put up all these emotional protective walls around yourself to make sure that you keep all of the negativity out – so it’s kind of conflicting messages.
