TORONTO (September 25, 2015) – This Sunday, Sept. 27 beginning at noon, the Honourable Kathleen Wynne delivers the word on the radio about Toronto’s The Word on the Street when she co-hosts a special one-hour broadcast on NEWSTALK 1010. Wynne – a longtime fan of the renowned book and magazine event – joins NEWSTALK 1010’s Barb DiGiulio Broadcast live from Harbourfront Centre to interview some of her favourite authors, taking listeners to the heart of Canada’s largest free book and magazine Festival. “Premier Wynne turning to NEWSTALK 1010 to host this special broadcast from The Word on the Street Festival provides yet another way for our listeners to engage with civic leaders,” said Mike Bendixen, Program Director, NEWSTALK 1010. A familiar radio voice, Premier Wynne has commanded the NEWSTALK 1010 mic in the past, with rotating appearances hosting THE PROVINCE, which has created a platform for Ontarians to share their political opinions and contribute to an ongoing dialogue.
