Prime Minister Justin Trudeau joins CTV News’ Lisa LaFlamme to answer questions from Canadians in TOP 10 WITH THE PM.“Our annual sit-down interview with the Prime Minister is a longstanding holiday tradition for CTV News, but this year we’ve approached it from a new angle, encouraging Canadians to weigh in and submit the questions they are most passionate about,” said Wendy Freeman, President, CTV News. “We’ve identified the 10 biggest trends out of thousands of submissions, and we’re honoured to act as a voice for Canadians in this year’s conversation with the country’s leader.” TOP 10 WITH THE PM marks the 50th anniversary of CTV’s year-end interview with the Prime Minister, which has been an annual tradition since the network’s first interview with Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson in 1967. Since then, successive Canadian Prime Ministers have shared their perspective on the year gone by and their hopes for the future in hour-long special presentations. Encore presentations of TOP 10 WITH THE PM air on Saturday, Dec. 30 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV Two, and on Monday, Jan. 1 at 12 noon ET on CTV. Viewers can also watch the full-length TOP 10 WITH THE PM special on CTVNews.ca, and access comprehensive behind-the-scenes content from the interview across CTV News’ official social media accounts.
