“Without getting too ahead of ourselves, it looks like Class will stand up handsomely beside its predecessor.” – Dan Martin, The Guardian TORONTO (November 4, 2016) – Final data from Numeris confirms that the Saturday, Oct. 22, two-hour special debut of the DOCTOR WHO spin-off series CLASS and its lead-in INNERSPACE PRESENTS: DOCTOR  WHO, made Space the most-watched entertainment specialty channel between 8-11 p.m. ET for total viewers and all key adult demos. With an audience of 465,000, the premiere episode of CLASS was the most-watched specialty program of the day among adults 25-54 and 18-49, and ranks in the Top 10 biggest debuts ever on Space (#7). Created, written, and executive produced by the acclaimed author Patrick Ness (A Monster Calls), and executive produced by Emmy® Award-winning showrunner Steven Moffat and Executive Producer Brian Minchin, CLASS is a one-hour, sci-fi drama that centres around Coal Hill Academy, a fictional school that has been a part of the DOCTOR WHO universe since 1963, the year the iconic series debuted. In CLASS, the students of Coal Hill Academy all have their own secrets and desires. They are facing their own worst fears, navigating a life of friends, parents, school work, sex, sorrow - and possibly the end of existence. The Doctor and his time-travelling have made the walls of space and time stretch thin, and monsters beyond imagination are planning to break through and wreak havoc upon Earth. In Episode 4 airing Saturday Nov. 5 at 9 p.m. ET, “Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart,” April starts to feel greater effects of sharing her heart with Corakinus. As the connection strengthens, she vows to reclaim her heart as her own. Meanwhile something strange is happening to the others, as London is infested with a sinister and unusual threat.
