Premiering Monday, April 8, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Animal Planet, each episode delves into true stories about people and the animals that have changed their lives. When trouble strikes and pets are in the midst of a medical emergency, their families commit to saving them and take boundless measures to help the creature they care for! From frantic dashes to the emergency room, through to successful recoveries, SAVE MY PET is sure to touch the hearts of all animal lovers. 

SAVE MY PET makes its Canadian premiere exclusively on Animal Planet, Monday, April 8.

Monday, April 8 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT

A young man adopts a badly neglected German Shepherd and nurses her through double hip surgery. Turmoil continues when Maggie lies at death’s door after being struck by a snowplow during her first healthy winter but her owner remains dedicated to her survival.

SAVE MY PET: “Maskara”

Monday, April 15 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT

Twin teenaged sisters buy a California King Snake that helps them shed their own outsiders' skin. The sisters stand by their scaly sidekick when an eye infection calls for delicate surgery.

SAVE MY PET: “Sherlock”

Monday, April 29 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT

A Dalmatian is suddenly overcome by the same kidney disease that claimed the life of the owner’s previous dog, also a Dalmatian. In an effort to save him, Sherlock travels across the province to seek expert medical treatment.

SAVE MY PET: “Sasha”

Monday, May 6 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT

An intense bond forms between a foster mother and a small skittish dog but when Sasha is adopted into an unfamiliar home she runs away at the first opportunity. After a detrimental accident during her brief bolt, Sasha’s family rescues her and does whatever it takes to get her back on her feet.

SAVE MY PET: “Mattie”

Monday, May 13 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT

A beloved ragdoll kitten suddenly goes limp and is in terrible pain but an expert vet is left mystified when Mattie doesn't respond to treatment. As the fragile young cat’s only hope, Mattie’s family seeks out emergency out-of-province care.
