TORONTO (Sept. 28 2017) – Canada’s biggest producer of original stand-up comedy, The Comedy Network, is gearing up for a new season of original stand-up specials with the Season 5 premiere of JUST FOR LAUGHS: ALL ACCESS this Saturday, Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Produced in association with Just For Laughs, Season 5 of this 13-episode stand up series features an all-star line-up including hosts Russell Peters(Sept. 30); Sebastian Maniscalco (Oct. 7); Jay Pharoah (Oct. 14); Nikki Glaser (Oct. 28); David Cross (Nov. 4); and the late, great, Carrie Fisher (Dec. 23). Canada’s brightest comedic stars featured in Season 5 are Graham Chittenden (Oct. 7), John Cullen (Oct. 14), Chris Locke (Oct. 14), THE BEAVERTON’s Aisha Alfa (Oct. 21), LETTERKENNY’s K. Trevor Wilson (Oct. 21), Tom Henry (Oct. 28), and Dave Merheje (Oct. 28).

Produced by Just For Laughs Television in association with The Comedy Network, Season 5 of JUST FOR LAUGHS: ALL ACCESS was filmed in July 2016 on location in Montréal, where Comedy had special access to the marquee galas and club shows to produce 13, one-hour episodes. Season 6, which premieres on Comedy in 2018, was filmed this July at Montréal’s Place des Arts and Club Soda.
