TORONTO (March 25, 2019) – Bell Media’s Crave announced today that the full 10-episode second season of the critically acclaimed STARZ Original Series VIDA will be available on the Crave app with the STARZ add-on on Thursday, May 23.

“Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes with a perfect score of 100%, and an Audience Award Winner at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival, the new season of VIDA will have its world premiere as an Official Selection of the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival.
VIDA is created and executive produced by Tanya Saracho, Big Beach TV’s Robin Schwartz, Peter Saraf and Marc Turtletaub, and Stephanie Langhoff. The series stars Melissa Barrera as Lyn, Mishel Prada as Emma, Ser Anzoategui as Eddy, Chelsea Rendon as Marisol, Carlos Miranda as Johnny, Roberta Colindrez as Nico, Raúl Castillo as Baco, and Adrian Gonzalez as Rudy.
In Season 2 of VIDA, Lyn and Emma begin the monumental task of rebuilding their mother’s legacy – a crumbling bar and apartment building on the east side of Los Angeles – at a time when the local anti-gentrification uprising will stop at almost nothing to call out any and all cultural displacers. While navigating such obstacles, Lyn and Emma contemplate the relationships in their lives, including their own, and are forced to dig deep to unearth what their mother’s legacy means to them.
