TORONTO (September 25, 2013) Sidney Crosby has once again been ranked the NHL’s #1 player, as announced earlier tonight on NHL ON TSN TOP 50 PLAYERS.

For the first time, TSN’s Top 50 ranking – one of the hockey world’s most exclusive lists – was determined by a group of 14 NHL coaches and GMs, representing seven Eastern Conference teams and seven Western Conference teams.

This year’s NHL ON TSN TOP 50 PLAYERS features nine new players, four goalies, 10 defencemen, and 26 Canadians. The Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks has five players on the list – the most of any NHL team. Just missing the Top 50 was Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price, who was ranked #51.

See below for the full TOP 50 PLAYERS ranking, and an additional breakdown of notable omissions, biggest risers and fallers, and players by country and position. The hockey world can voice their opinion on the Top 50 ranking by using the hashtag #TSNTop50.
