“[THE OTHER TWO] ensemble is across-the-board excellent.” – Entertainment Weekly
“… an early contender for funniest new comedy of 2019” – Decider
“…[THE OTHER TWO] is smart about its focus and targets” – VarietySATURDAY NIGHT LIVE alumni have gone on to give us some of television’s most cherished comedies, including Tina Fey’s 30 ROCK and Bill Hader’s BARRY. Comedy writers, Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, a duo with an pedigreed portfolio (BROAD CITY, SNL, and COLLEGE HUMOUR) are next in line from the SNL talent pool as writers and co-creators of the all-new series, THE OTHER TWO, airing Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on The Comedy Network. The series was also picked up for a second season as recently announced at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. The pair left SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE in 2017 after serving as co-head writers during the series’ landmark 42nd season – who can forget Alec Baldwin’s debut as Donald Trump? Kelly and Schneider bring the same dynamic talent to the writer’s room for THE OTHER TWO. Legendary SNL creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels also joins Kelly and Schneider as EP on the highly anticipated series. The 10-episode, half-hour series follows Cary (Drew Tarver), a struggling actor and his sister Brooke (Heléne Yorke), an unemployed former professional dancer as they try to find their place in the world while their 13-year-old brother Chase (Case Walker) rises to instant internet fame with a viral homemade music video. THE OTHER TWO is an endearing family comedy disguised as a hilarious satire on showbiz and maneuvering through fame. The show boasts an impressive cast of comedy greats including Molly Shannon, the siblings’ fame-ready mother, Wanda Sykes as Chase’ money-grubbing record-label publicist, and Ken Marino as Chase’ newly-hired manager. Other guest stars include Beck Bennett, Kate Berlant, Michael Che, Andy Cohen, Heidi Gardner, Jackie Hoffman, Daniel K. Isaac, Brandon Scott Jones, Richard Kind, Greta Lee, Tinsley Mortimer, Andy Ridings, Josh Segarra, Julio Torres, JJ Totah, and Patrick Wilson. THE OTHER TWO airs Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on The Comedy Network.
