Space’s THE LAST SHIP Comes in First with 333,000 Viewers

TORONTO (June 23, 2014)Sunday night’s maiden voyage of THE LAST SHIP on Space set sail to 333,000 viewers, making it the #1 entertainment specialty program of the day for total viewers and A25-54. In its 9 p.m. ET timeslot, Space was the #1 specialty network for total viewers, as well as A25-54, and A18-49.

Executive produced by blockbuster filmmaker Michael Bay (Transformers), the action-packed military stars Eric Dane (GREY'S ANATOMY) as the captain of a naval destroyer whose crew must confront a new reality when a pandemic kills off most of the earth’s population. Airing exclusively in Canada on Space, the 10-episode, one hour series is based on William Brinkley’s popular novel of the same name.

In the next episode of THE LAST SHIP, “Gitmo,” (Sunday, June 29 at 9 p.m. ET) Chandler (Eric Dane, GREY’S ANATOMY) and his crew head to Guantanamo Bay in hopes of collecting food, medical supplies and fuel, but they come under attack by escaped Gitmo prisoners.
