TORONTO (October 10, 2014) – TSN today announced that TSN subscribers with TELUS Optik TV can now access live streaming and full-length on demand coverage of the network’s diverse roster of the biggest events in sports via TSN GO, part of Bell Media’s suite of TV Everywhere services. TSN GO gives TSN subscribers with TELUS Optik TV the freedom to watch multiple TSN feeds from their smartphones, tablets, and computers at no additional charge.
TELUS Optik TV joins the following group of distribution partners who offer TSN’s live streaming service: Bell TV, FibreOp TV (Bell Aliant), NorthernTel, Rogers, Shaw Cable, Shaw Direct, and Source Cable. With the addition of TELUS Optik TV, TSN GO is now available to more than 6.5 million subscribers across Canada.
The announcement follows TSN’s recent expansion to five national feeds, which TELUS Optik TV customers were among the first to receive when the network’s new lineup of feeds launched on August 25.
“We are thrilled to further expand the distribution of TSN GO to millions of TSN subscribers across the country,” said Stewart Johnston, President of TSN. “With the added option of live streaming TSN’s five national feeds, TELUS Optik TV customers now have multiple platforms to watch their favourite TSN programming.”
TSN GO delivers access to the network’s 6,000+ annual hours of live sports programming that features more championships than any other broadcaster in the country. Fans can visit TSN.ca for further details on how to access TSN GO.
